In RE, Year 1 have been learning all about God’s Creation. They visited the nature park and made their own paintbrush out of sticks, leaves and flowers. They then went back to class and painted St Francis or Assisi, who is known for his love of animals and nature! 🍃

We are so happy to have welcomed back all of our children this morning! 👋

We started the morning with a Celebration of the Word Assembly, where we shared the Matthew's Gospel and talked about new beginnings and being welcoming to others. The children have been given a mission for the week to be welcoming towards others in school, whether this be a smile, a hello or even offering to play together.

We can't wait to hear how children have succeeded in their mission this week! Have a great first week everyone ⭐

A very special goodbye to our Executive Head, Mrs Nesbit 🌟
