This year our MB ChB Personal Tutor Award goes to Dr Ellie Powell.
Nominating Ellie, one student said: "Ellie has been absolutely amazing in supporting me throughout a very difficult few months. Despite how busy she is, she has always made time for me and provided me with a space to explore my issues in detail.

Congratulations to Dr Petra Hanson, who received an Outstanding Contribution to Health and Wellbeing Award at the Coventry Health and Wellbeing Awards last week.
This recognition reflects many years of research, collaboration and partnership work focused on improving the health and wellbeing of people living in Coventry.

Congratulations to Dr Quadri Sanni, who is the winner of this year's MB ChB Teaching Excellence in an NHS Setting Prize.
Those nominating him said: "Dr Sanni created a very comfortable atmosphere for learning, encouraging us to actively participate, make mistakes, and grow, all while receiving constructive guidance and support.
"He provided practical learning experiences that enhanced our skills and knowledge in areas we may not have otherwise encountered. His demeanour with patients remains as an inspirational learning point."

Following graduation, Health and Medical Sciences alumna Marcella went on to study a Master’s in Public Health at Warwick Medical School. She now works as a Wider Determinants of Health Project Officer at Walsall Council.
