Arguably the best part of Tots & Baby Art?

The biscuit at the end!
They all know it's coming. They all wait for it. And I'm fairly sure for some of them it's the highlight of the entire class 😳

All that creating is hungry work!

Don't worry there is always a biscuit and hot drink for the adult - although you have to be quick with little hands on the biscuit front!

Our littlest artists have been getting creative! 🎨

We had such a lovely Baby Art & Sensory session recently – lots of exploring, colour, messy hands and some very serious creating! 😂

If you have a little one who loves getting stuck in, we have lots more Baby Art & Sensory and Tots Art coming up:

Baby Art & Sensory – 6–18 months / Monday 12th 10am

Tots Art & Sensory – walkers - Preschoolers / Tuesday 20th October – 10am

Does your child love art? They could turn that creativity into a recognised qualification.

Make, Create & Capture is a registered Arts Award centre, where children and young people can work towards Arts Award while actually making, experimenting with and experiencing art.

We've explored photography, gelli printing, cyanotypes, clay, drawing, painting, mixed media and alternative photographic processes — with lots more to come.

Along the way, children develop their own ideas, discover artists and creative careers, try new processes and gradually build a portfolio showing their creative journey.

There are different Arts Award levels depending on your child's age and stage, from Discover through to Explore, Bronze and Silver.

Home Ed sessions run during the week.

After-school sessions run on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm.

I currently have spaces available across the different award levels.

If you have a creative child and you're wondering whether Arts Award might suit them, send me a message with their age and I'll happily explain which level would be the best fit.

On completion, children receive their Arts Award certification through Trinity College London.

Our next monthly Art Lab is Acrylic Pouring!

Sunday 18th October, 1pm–2.30pm
Tuesday 20th October, 10am–11.30am

Art Lab is for children aged 8+ who want to experiment with different materials, techniques and creative processes.

This time we'll be exploring acrylic pouring, learning how to mix and pour the paints before experimenting with colour and movement to create their own completely unique piece.

No two pours will ever turn out the same, which is part of the fun.

Suitable for ages 8+.

A busy Saturday morning in the studio.

Our little artists have been creating at Tots Art & Sensory! Perfect way to start the weekend.

I love seeing how differently they all approach the activities. There isn't a right finished piece — they're encouraged to explore the materials, get messy, experiment and create in their own way.

Our Tots sessions run on selected weekdays as well as Weekend Specials, so there are options if you can't make a regular weekday class.

October is going to be a busy!

There is lots happening at the studio this month for all different ages:

• Tots Art & Sensory - walkers plus runs alternate weeks on Tuesdays and Saturdays
• Little Makers Baby Art & Sensory 6 months plus
• Arts Award classes both home Ed and Afterschool
• Create Together adult & child workshops - Monthly Saturday special
• Art Lab for ages 8+ Runs once in the week and one Sunday a month
• Halloween specials - Classes for Tots & Siblings during half term and Babies on Halloween itself!
• Half-term Art Camps - Running Monday - Wednesday only. Limited spaces!

I'm also working on a couple of new ideas for our older children and Home Ed families, including a children's Photography Club.
