Are you debating entering this year’s Liberty Art Award?
Hear from some of our alumni on why this student prize is worth entering!
“ If I had to sum up the Liberty Art Award program in one phrase, it would be life-changing.”
Naomi Boye Stapleton,
“Opportunities like this, they're just invaluable” continues Karyn Johnstone: “From the base up, we're taught things like networking, speaking to curators, building a website, how to run your Instagram account, all things that are taken for granted.”
According to Merrie Carlton, ”When you're an undergraduate, you can spend a lot of time making work. That's what you are there to do really. And there's very little guidance on how to do all the other stuff. What the Liberty Art Award has allowed me to do is to feel more confident marketing myself as an artist”.
The Liberty Art Award is totally free to enter, and might just change your artistic career for the better!
