A little throwback to 27 years ago in September 1999, when Shihan Christine opened up her first Karate club in Brookmans Park under the name "Karate Kids"

A little background history: Karate kids was formed by Shihan Christine, specialising in teaching children as young as 3 years old as next to no one took on such young children but having that magic with young children, it took off.....as the years and the club progressed and older children and adults joined, she changed the name to Black Panther Karate, then due to the sad loss of both Shihans parents, their long running club School of Japanese Karate (since the 70s!) was merged into what is known today as Black Panther School of Japanese Karate.

We're still one of a few clubs that specialise in taking on children as young as 3 and always looking for ways to expand and improve.
