Its 3 days until the launch of The Nutrition First Aid Kit and I am getting very excited!
This membership is for anyone working or caring for children who have spent way too much time googling and feeling overwhelmed by the amount of advice out there.
This membership is to provide you with simple easy to digest information that you can put into practice. Each month will cover a different childhood health topic including a mini video presentation, article, recipe, and selected checklists, guidebooks or handouts.
From years of working in clinic as a paediatric nutritionist I've got a lot of information to share with you!!
For £7.99 a month (for the first 100 members) we hope you'll agree this is great value for essentially having a nutritionist in your pocket!
Once you join you'll be added to our online community where the discussions continue 😊
Launching Saturday 1st August.
Save this post, put the date in your calendar and follow me and you nutrition kids for updates!

Feeling confused about the difference? Our clinic director Dr Kirstie Lawton, PhD at You Nutrition Kids and Dr Kirstie Lawton, PhD has created this graphic that explains the true difference between qualifications and what we can actually do.
There are several qualified nutrition professions in the UK and understanding the difference can help you find the right support for your health.
Many people have heard of Dietitians and Nutritionists, but fewer people know about Registered Nutritional Therapists.
Registered Nutritional Therapists are specifically trained to work with individuals, taking a personalised approach to nutrition, lifestyle and health. We spend time looking at the whole picture your symptoms, medical history, diet, lifestyle and health goals to create an individualised plan that's right for you.
Our training also includes the evidence-informed use of supplements and the interpretation of functional testing (where appropriate and within our scope of practice), alongside the latest nutrition research.
Every nutrition profession has its own area of expertise, and each plays an important role. The key is understanding which professional is best suited to your needs.
One thing I do think is important to raise awareness of is the increasing amount of nutrition advice being shared online by people with no recognised nutrition qualifications at all.
A large social media following doesn't mean someone is qualified to recommend supplements, interpret health tests or advise on complex health concerns.
When choosing someone to support your health, it's worth asking: • What are their qualifications? • Are they registered with a recognised professional body? • Are they accountable to a code of ethics? • Is their advice evidence-informed?
The title someone uses isn't as important as their education, professional standards and scope of practice.
Because when it comes to your health, personalised, evidence-based advice from a qualified practitioner will always be worth more than advice from an influencer.
The best practitioner isn't the one with the biggest following it's the one with the right training for your individual needs.

HEATWAVE ~~~~~
Its going to be hot this week and the ice lollies will no doubt be out everyday.
To reduced the sugar but still have a tasty cool treat try making your own with a few simple ingredients.
This one is 1 banana, a handful of frozen raspberries and 1 cup of coconut water.
Blend together and pour into molds then freeze overnight.
The coconut water adds some well needed electrolytes to support minerals lost when sweating to help keep your little ones hydrated!💧

Picky eating can have many contributing factors, including sensory preferences, taste sensitivity, early feeding experiences, digestive discomfort, oral motor challenges and individual temperament.
A child can still be adventurous with flavours and still be selective about presentation.
Who else has a child who prefers foods separated on the plate?! Let me know below 👇
