Feeling Grateful
This year I have:
💫Lost my job, got it back
💫Caught Covid
💫Got Furloughed from both jobs
💫Had to learn how to become an Online PT
💫Got made redundant (by email!)
💫Lost clients
💫Gained clients
💫Seen my family only three times
💫Got an amazing new job and got the gym back
💫Got furloughed again
💫Had to isolate
And yet despite all of that upheaval and stress
I have had an amazing year ❤
I've met some beautiful souls, made some great connections
Done things that have pushed me out of my comfort zone and expanded my mind (including swimming in the 3 degree lake!)
Been inspired by my clients strength and resilience
Learned a lot about my own strength and resilience
Healed trauma and grief
And made the most out of what life is about
I'm so lucky to have the life I have
so if you're lucky enough to have breath in your lungs, a healthy family, a job and a warm house over your head
Then appreciate all that you have and continue to do so in 2021
🙏💜

Finding a Routine
Okay so if you're in self-isolation, your routine has more than likely been highly disrupted.
This can be difficult to claw back once it's out
So what do you have to do to create normality in self-isolation?
You don't need to be hustling
You don't need to be panic buying (trust me)
You don't need to be googling symptoms either, stop it.
However, you do need routine
You just need to remember the basics guys
Set your alarm and get up early
Have a wash when you get up, get changed (even if it's into another pair of comfies)
Have a good breakfast, drink lots of water and make sure you have healthy snacks in the house.
Make your plan for the day, make a list, a time planner and tick it off as you go along.
Keep yourself accountable.
Call somebody to talk to.
Isolation can be lonely for some so make sure that you speak to someone, make sure that you hear your own voice
And don't forget to laugh people. It's so important to keep laughing.
Stick to the basics, get what you need to get done, done and let's all get through it together
