Lauren dropped by to visit us last week to talk about how after years working in SEO her role is increasingly moving out of SERPs and into social media… as social continues to grow as a go-to search platform.

We know social search is key to both a successful social media strategy and also a successful SEO strategy. It was interesting to hear how social and SEO teams at Visualsoft have been working more closely together to deliver success for their clients!

And of course, Lauren is alumni too ✨

Last term we had an excellent talk from Josh Hollis (pictured here with a few of our stage 2 and stage 3 students) about his role as Social Media Marketing Manager at Newcase United - thanks to for freeing him up for us and to Josh for his expertise!

Since then we’ve also had a brilliant paid ads masterclass with (sadly we didn’t get any pics!) but grateful for the time you’ve given to support our students and share what’s working right now when it comes to Insta and TikTok ads.

It’s that time of year again… we’re taking part in the this Friday to raise money for eight great charities.

Join us on Twitch as ten players take part in a festive homage to one of our favourite TV shows - our Betrayors and Innocents battle it out to make it through five rounds of challenges, assassinations and rejections - and you can get involved by donating to shield your favourite players, throw a spanner into a live challenge, or give a clue to an Innocent of your choice.

Our graduate Jane's dream job was to work in social media in womens' football. After a stint running social media for the Great North Run Company, she made a tough decision to leave an amazing role with them to keep chasing her career goals - and landed her dream job with Durham Women's FC:

✨ Lizzie and Hannah working behind-the-scenes creating social media content at the Foot in the Door event this week. ✨

It was great to have Rachael from .co and Scott in to meet the stage 2 team as we begin putting together a social media strategy and collaborating on our social media project this term.

In stage 2 we create a strategy and produce content for local businesses. This year we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to support .co and a North East fruit and veg delivery company (who were doing a bit do brand development for so watch this space on that).
