Congratulations to Our WorldSkills UK Finalists!

Four of our amazing students have made it through to the WorldSkills UK National Finals!

A huge congratulations to Elliott Worral (Foundation Skills: Restaurant Service), Fatimah Patel (Foundation Skills: Restaurant Service), Lorenza Redshaw (Foundation Skills: Hairdressing) and Toby Ashworth (Foundation Skills: Catering).

After impressing the regional judges, they will now go on to represent Trafford & Stockport College Group at the National Finals in Wales this November.

This is fantastic and a recognition of their hard work and dedication, alongside the support of our brilliant Hospitality and Hairdressing teams at TSCG.

Good luck, Elliott, Fatimah, Lorenza and Toby! We are incredibly proud of you and can't wait to see what you achieve next!

A huge congratulations to our Hospitality students who represented Trafford College at this year’s WorldSkills Foundation Skills regional competitions! 👏

Toby Ashworth, Fatimah Patel and Elliot Worrall, all Level 1 Hospitality Services students, showcased incredible resilience, professionalism and determination throughout the competition.

We’re also delighted that all three have successfully completed their course and will be progressing onto Level 2 in September.

Well done to our fantastic students and the Hospitality team who have supported them every step of the way. 💙

What an inspiring evening celebrating the achievements of our students at the Trafford & Stockport College Group Student Awards.

Tonight was about recognising the determination, resilience and ambition of learners from across our colleges. Every award winner and finalist has a unique story, and it was a privilege to celebrate everything they have accomplished this year.

A huge thank you to our colleagues, whose dedication, encouragement and expertise help our students realise their potential every day. We’d also like to thank the families, friends and supporters who have been part of each learner’s journey.

Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees and winners. You are a fantastic example of what can be achieved through hard work, perseverance and a belief in your future.

🌞 Hot Weather Update

It's business as usual on campus, but with temperatures set to remain high this week, we have plans in place to help keep students and colleagues safe and comfortable while continuing to support learning.

If attending campus, students are encouraged to:
💧 Bring a refillable water bottle
☀️ Stay hydrated throughout the day
🧢 Wear suitable clothing for the weather
🚌 Plan ahead for travel and allow extra time for journeys where needed
🌳 Make use of cooler or shaded areas where possible
