Please note that we are a workshop and a teaching space, not a retail space, we do not carry stock or have jewellery on display. Our workshop day finishes at 3pm, so calls and emails will be responded to the next working day. 🍺Last Wednesday we got together for a little moment of JOY amongst the chaos, ❤️ Our Jewellers of Yorkshire networking group and some of our learners from The Jewellery Makers visited one of our local watering holes Amity Brew Co Farsley. 🍺

🍟 We ate great food from La Grassa (meatball sub - nom nom) and generally chilled out and caught up! JOY meets monthly to socialise, learn, visit interesting places and connect with others who are as obsessed with jewellery, just as we are!

☀️ JOY X The Jewellery Makers SUMMER SOCIAL. ☀️ It’s time to put down the tools and join our amazing (Award winning!) community for a wee drink at one of our lovely locals, AMITY Amity Brew Co Farsley 🍻 .

☀️ Literally a stone’s throw from the studio, in our wonderful heritage mill full of amazing creativity Sunny Bank Mills we are looking forward to a catch up and a celebration of the first 6 months of the year and all we have achieved so far!

☀️ Want to join us? Anyone working in or with the jewellery trade is welcome to join us, or any of our students past or present. Come and spend some time with your fellow jewellery geeks and enjoy a cold drink in the sun! They also have some really gorgeous non alcoholic options to try too if you are not drinking or are driving to meet us. See you there! ☀️

🚗 What can I say it was a pretty stressful start to our road trip! Our networking group for jewellers, JOY, headed to Goldsmiths’ North on Sunday and it was the most hellish drive EVER! Totally worth it when we got there though. An amazing fair in the most wonderful building Cutlers’ Hall.

❤️ Thanks to the very patient members of JOY (Jewellers of Yorkshire) who were the best road trippers ever. To the nice fella at the tyre place who put me a new tyre on and didn’t even over charge me which I thought was kind in the circumstances. 😂

🙏 Massive thanks and KUDOS to for inviting me to the dinner on Friday and to and the rest of the team for putting on a beautiful event. Thanks to to the for inviting us to the event and supporting us, we are excited for your talk 🗣️

Somehow you ended up making a tiny chair! 🪑 How cute is this? Made by one of our adult learners Emma (not me!) this gorgeous little creation was made, as an actual chair would be, with spindles stuck into holes and a weaved seat which was bound around. It was soldered together very carefully for added security. For scale it is about the size of my thumb. 👍

Fancy joining one of our classes? Next term starts w/c 8th June and is online now. Our early bird offer finishes on Sunday 31st May at midnight. We offer evening and daytime courses, which are selling out. Friday morning is sold out and Saturday morning has just 1 space left. There are still a. Few spots available on our other classes.
