Accredited vs Certified - are they actually the same thing? 👀
You’ll often see the words accredited and certified used interchangeably, but they can represent very different things.
A certificate can demonstrate that training has been completed and the requirements set by a training provider have been achieved.
Accreditation goes further, it involves independent assessment against defined standards, providing external recognition that those standards have been met.
So when choosing a practitioner or training provider, don’t just look for a certificate. Ask what sits behind it. 🔎
Completion is important. But independent recognition matters too.
