A random trip to Edinburgh with hubby, one rucksack each, and somehow I still realised how much I’ve been carrying around with me.
The train journey gave me time to rest, think and ponder a little. No rushing, nowhere else to be, and nothing I really needed to do.
I’m someone who believes in being present, but I’ll admit I also worry about being bored. Yet maybe being bored isn’t something we need to avoid. Maybe sometimes it’s simply being present long enough to notice what’s actually going on within us.
Looking up at the moon from Edinburgh Castle last night, I realised I probably need a little more of that.
What’s stopping you from doing nothing and simply being present in this moment?
