A random trip to Edinburgh with hubby, one rucksack each, and somehow I still realised how much I’ve been carrying around with me.

The train journey gave me time to rest, think and ponder a little. No rushing, nowhere else to be, and nothing I really needed to do.

I’m someone who believes in being present, but I’ll admit I also worry about being bored. Yet maybe being bored isn’t something we need to avoid. Maybe sometimes it’s simply being present long enough to notice what’s actually going on within us.

Looking up at the moon from Edinburgh Castle last night, I realised I probably need a little more of that.

What’s stopping you from doing nothing and simply being present in this moment?

I’ve been a little quiet on here since camping.

Partly because work has been busy, but also because I’ve been dealing with quite a lot of body pain. So I’ve taken some time out, and only today have I started to feel a bit more human than I did last weekend!

Maybe it’s because I went dancing last night, or because today I got to share the beauty of Soul Coaching® with my new practitioners in training. Both definitely brought a bit more of me back.

I’m still learning to listen to my body, especially as I get older, and this week has been another reminder that we only get one of them… so I’d probably better look after mine!

But enough about me. How are you?

And apparently, taking some time out does NOT mean taking time out from the dogs. They made that very clear. 😂

Off for a weekend camping… and I swear I am NOT a nature person! 😂

But I am looking forward to disconnecting for a couple of days, switching off from everything going on around me and just being.

Sometimes I forget how much I need that until I actually do it.

When was the last time you properly switched off and gave yourself a break from everything going on around you?

Back in England after a few days in beautiful North Wales, and I realised I lied to you yesterday!

We didn’t do everything we wanted to do, but we probably did more of what we needed. There was good food, mostly great weather, wonderful company and a few little surprises along the way.

Now it’s back to work, although what I’m most looking forward to is The Lion’s Gate Oracle Experience beginning on 8th August.

Today is your final chance to join us. You’ll receive a personal three-card oracle reading, followed by a 14-day email journey to help you reflect, make space and decide what you want to move towards during this mystical time.

✨ Come and join us before the doors close.

It’s the last day to join me for The Lion’s Gate Oracle Experience.

This photo was taken yesterday morning, just before we set off to climb Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).

Except… we didn’t.

The weather had changed so much that it just wasn’t worth it, especially as we’ve all been getting over colds. So we turned around, the fire went on, the coffee was poured, and we spent the day playing board games, chatting and laughing instead.

It wasn’t the day we’d planned.

It was the day we needed.

Life has taught me to make plans, but not to hold onto them so tightly that I miss what else is possible. Sometimes the path changes. Sometimes we’re asked to wait. Sometimes something completely different turns out to be exactly what we needed.

That’s one of the reasons I love working with oracle cards.

They don’t tell us what will happen. They help us understand where we are, what needs our attention, and what might support us as we take our next step, whatever that looks like.

If you’ve been feeling ready for a fresh perspective, today is the last opportunity to join me for The Lion’s Gate Oracle Experience.

You’ll receive a personal three card oracle reading on 8th August, followed by fourteen days of guided emails, journal prompts and activating actions to help you work with your reading and begin your own next chapter.

Bookings close tonight.

You’ll find the details in the comments.

Yesterday we visited some waterfalls in North Wales, ones I hadn’t seen since I was a teenager.

I stood in front of them for a while, watching the water and simply taking it all in. It felt like everything was being washed away, making space for something new.

It got me thinking.

I’m someone who loves having a marker to begin again. The first of the month. A birthday. A new moon. Something that gives me permission to stop, reflect and choose what’s next.

As I’ve been reading more about the Lion’s Gate, I’ve realised that’s what this has become for me.

Not because I think one day changes everything.

Because I’ve chosen to let this be my moment.

I pulled some oracle cards for myself and the messages couldn’t have come at a better time. They reminded me where I am, what needs my attention and where I want to head next.

That’s why I’ve decided to create The Lion’s Gate Oracle Experience.

On 8th August I’ll prepare a personal three card oracle reading, followed by fourteen days of shared emails with journal prompts and simple actions to help you put that guidance into practice.

I’m keeping it to a limited number of places as every reading is prepared personally, and bookings close on Thursday 7th August.

If it feels like your time to begin something new, you’ll find all the details in the comments.

Over the last few weeks, something has been shifting for me.

I like going with the flow… especially when I’m the one in control! Every now and then though, I stop trying to steer everything and let my intuition lead. I’ve learnt that’s usually when I notice what I need most.

As part of that, I started reading about the Lion’s Gate. It’s often described as a time of transformation and new possibilities, and something about that resonated with where I am right now.

So, I did what I always do.

I pulled some oracle cards for myself.

The reading didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know. It reminded me of what I’d stopped paying attention to. It gave me the clarity to keep moving in the direction that already felt right.

That experience inspired me to create something I’d love to share with you.

On 8th August, I’ll prepare a personal three card oracle reading for everyone who joins. Then, from 9th to 22nd August, you’ll receive a daily email with reflections, journal prompts and simple actions to help you work with your reading and take meaningful steps forward.

If you’re feeling ready for a fresh perspective or simply want to reconnect with yourself, I’d love you to join me.

You’ll find the link in the comments.

Life has been a little full on lately… and then I got sick.

It wasn’t anything serious, but it was a reminder that I’d stopped looking after myself.

Thankfully, we’d already planned a few days away in North Wales with my cousin. One of the surprises was a boat trip. Apart from one slightly terrified doggy experiencing his very first time on a boat 🤣, it was exactly what I needed.

There’s something about being out on the water that helps everything settle. I found myself breathing a little deeper, letting go of the busyness, and remembering that I don’t always have to keep pushing.

Sometimes our bodies whisper long before they shout.

✨ Have you been listening to yours lately, or has life been a little too full on?
