Our ESOL students recently took their language skills to new heights at Rhino Boulder climbing wall! Over the past two weeks, five groups, from Pre-entry to Level 1, tackled the challenge of combining language learning with physical activity. 💪 Students practised English by following safety instructions, identifying and naming colours while climbing! An exciting adventure that proved learning can be both fun and challenging! 🎉

Jodie provided a great overview of NIBlock Electrical, their career pathways, and the exciting apprenticeships launching in March 2025. The students were engaged throughout, gaining valuable knowledge about the application process and what it takes to apply.

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth ll. She was an inspirational leader on the world stage, an icon and a mother. Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

Our students have been working hard to provide posters, photographs, a great website and much more for this year’s Bexley Ecofest, an online festival dedicated to sustainable living and community environment care. It is more important than ever to understand our impact on the environment around us. You can learn about ways to be more sustainable in your community at the Bexley Eco Festival, an online event that will be taking place from the 9-16 October. London South East colleges is proud to support this festival. The virtual Eco Festival provides participants with access to a wide range of workshops and activities related to green issues and sustainability.
Business students from our Bexley Campus have helped plan activities for local schools and provided videos for the website. Art and Design students have produced Eco Festival posters, as well as photographs and pictures for the online Eco Festival gallery. Meanwhile ICT student Xander has done excellent work, with Cory staff, in updating the Bexley Eco Festival website. All our students have gained excellent work experience in working with employers to plan and organise a community event. Thanks to staff, Tessa Oksanen, Mary Campbell and John Das for their excellent support.

Home | BEXLEY ECO FESTIVAL Our main themes for the festival are The Environment & Wellbeing. This year's festival brings a weeks' worth of interactive activities, featuring a school dedicated day.

If you are on campus today, be sure to visit the Macmillan Coffee Morning where a range of sumptuous sweet treats are on sale. From brownies to popcorn, there is guaranteed to be something for you. So help a great cause and have something tasty while you're at it!

We would especially like to thank Paula Yates and her Health and Social Care students who have been diligently supplying the whole college with cake and collecting donations for this great charity.

Another big thank you must be given to Lillian Martin, the head of catering, for providing the sale with the most delicious brownies, blondies, victoria sponge and lemon drizzle cake.
