Alongside students from schools and colleges across the city, our learners shared heartfelt letters inspired by his legacy, reflecting on equality, courage, justice and the power to create positive change 📖

It was a pleasure once again to be in the company of Disability Advocate, Isaac Harvey MBE ( Am Isaac Harvey), at this year's Disability Festival.🙌🏾

Last year he worked as a roving reporter for the event, but this year he was able to be more of a spectator! 😊

It was great to be part of the once again for the third time running today!😊
Hosted by BMet and Aston University, the special free inclusive event enabled the celebration of disabled identity, culture, community and pride.👏🏼
Key highlights included an inclusive walk taking place around Aston University Lake, Dhol Drummers, live performances, dancing, games, sports, workshops and cosy sofa chats with people sharing their personal stories. 👀
Thanks to Ways for Wellbeing UK CIC for also being instrumental in the delivery of the day's variety-filled activities! 🎯

BMet Vocational Studies learners recently had the opportunity to get a real insight into engineering courses at the college’s “Taster sessions.”😊

Taking place at James Watt College, the specially designed workshops gave students “a taste” of the subject and enabled them to discover how it would be a rewarding career choice. 🎯
