Most women trying to lose weight are actually under-eating all day.
Skipping meals
Running on coffee
Trying to be good
Then night comes…
And suddenly the kitchen is calling your name.
That’s not lack of discipline.
That’s biology trying to fix an energy deficit.

Some women aren’t overeating.
They’re scared of food.
Years of dieting can do that.
You start checking calories before every bite.
Carbs feel dangerous.
Meals feel like a test you might fail.
And slowly food stops being something you enjoy…
and becomes something you’re anxious about.
So you restrict.
You eat as little as possible.
You try to be perfect.
But restriction has consequences.
Soon the cravings start.
You feel out of control around food.
Then the guilt kicks in.
And the cycle repeats.
It’s not because you lack discipline.
It’s because fear and restriction push your body and mind into survival mode.
Real fat loss doesn’t happen through fear.
It happens when you learn how to eat normally again.
Without guilt.
Without restriction.
Without obsessing over every bite.
That’s when things finally start to change.

Liz came to me feeling frustrated with her body.
She had tried countless diets before.
Each time she would start motivated, restrict her food, cut carbs, and follow strict rules… only to end up back where she started.
On top of that, she was pushing herself through intense workout programs that left her exhausted, burnt out, and completely drained.
Instead of feeling stronger, she felt tired, demotivated, and stuck.
Her goal was simple:
• Lose a dress size
• Feel stronger in her body
• Have more energy day to day
So we did the opposite of what she had always been told to do.
No extreme diets.
No cutting out foods she enjoyed.
No crazy workouts designed to destroy her.
Instead we focused on building a plan that fit her lifestyle.
We improved her eating habits without restriction, structured her training so it built strength instead of burnout, and focused on consistency over perfection.
The result?
Liz has now:
• Lost 6kg
• Dropped 2 dress sizes
• Has more daily energy
• Feels stronger than ever
And the most important part…
She didn’t have to starve herself or punish her body to get there.
This is what happens when you stop chasing extreme diets and start building sustainable habits that actually work.
If you’re tired of yo-yo dieting and want to lose weight without fearing food or burning yourself out, DM LOSE and let’s talk.
Diet.
Lose weight.
Feel great.
Life gets stressful.
You regain the weight.
Start again Monday.
Most women I speak to have been repeating this cycle for 10–20 years.
The problem isn’t discipline.
The problem is the system.
Fat loss needs to be sustainable.

You don’t crave sugar because you’re weak.
You crave sugar because you’re stressed and underfed.
Most women over 30 are trying to:
• Work
• Raise kids
• Manage a home
• Be “on” all day
• And diet at the same time
That’s a nervous system overload.
When stress rises, cortisol rises.
And cortisol’s job is simple:
Get you quick energy.
Your brain doesn’t ask for salmon and broccoli when you’re overwhelmed.
It asks for fast fuel.
Sugar.
Carbs.
Snacky foods.
Now here’s where it gets worse…
If you’ve been skipping meals, cutting carbs, or “being good all day,”
your body is already in a deficit.
So by the time evening hits, it’s not emotional weakness.
It’s biological survival.
Stress + under-eating = night overeating.
That’s not a motivation issue.
It’s a regulation issue.
The fix isn’t more restriction.
It’s:
• Eating consistently
• Stopping carb fear
• Managing stress properly
• And rebuilding trust with food
Fat loss becomes easier when your body feels safe.

You’re not overeating because you’re weak.
You’re not stuck because you love food too much.
You’re stuck because you’ve been taught to fear it.
So you label foods:
Good
Bad
Clean
Off plan
I ruined it
And every time you eat something bad
you feel guilt.
And every time you restrict to fix it
you make the cravings louder.
The more you try to control food…
the more it controls you.
Sustainable weight loss isn’t about cutting more.
It’s about calming your nervous system.
Removing food fear.
And building structure that makes decisions simple.
No guilt.
No starting over Monday.
No secret binge restrict cycle.
If you’re tired of thinking about food all day…

She was doing everything right… and getting nowhere.
Josefine came to me exhausted.
Daily gym sessions.
Hours of cardio.
Back-to-back classes.
Restricting her food.
And still…
No body change.
Constant stomach issues.
Low energy.
Frustrated and confused.
She thought she needed more discipline.
What she actually needed was a smarter plan.
We did the opposite of what she’d been doing:
• Stopped the food restriction
• Focused on foods that calmed her stomach
• Reduced the excessive cardio
• Prioritised strength training
• Built structure around recovery
Instead of punishing her body…
We started supporting it.
Within weeks:
Her old dresses fit again.
She gained muscle while losing body fat.
Her stomach issues disappeared.
Her energy came back.
No extremes.
No starvation.
No burnout.
Just clarity, structure, and consistency.
Most women I work with aren’t stuck because they eat too much.
They’re stuck because they’re under fueling, overtraining, and stressed.
If you’re training hard, eating clean, and still not seeing change…
It might not be effort you’re missing.
It might be the right strategy.

I used to swing between extremes.
Overeat → guilt → restrict → repeat.
I wasn’t broken.
I was stuck in a cycle I didn’t understand.
Emotional eating wasn’t the real issue.
The real issue was:
• Undereating
• Stress
• No structure
• Fear of certain foods
When I stopped punishing myself and started fueling properly, everything shifted.
That’s why I don’t coach extreme dieting.
I coach structure.
If you relate to this, you’re not weak you’re overwhelmed.
Comment RESET and I’ll send you the guide that helps you simplify this.
You don’t think about food because you love it.
You think about food because you’re constantly deciding about it.
What to eat.
How much.
Is this too much?
Should I skip later?
I’ll start again Monday.
That mental load drains you.
And when your brain is tired…
You grab what’s easy.
It’s not lack of discipline.
It’s decision fatigue.
A good plan removes that noise.
When you know what to eat, when to eat, and why —
food becomes simple again.
If you’re tired of thinking about food all day,
I made a free Sustainable Weight Loss guide to show you how to simplify it.
Comment Guide and I’ll send it over.
You skip breakfast.
Coffee holds you over.
Lunch is something small.
By 3–4pm you’re exhausted and thinking about food nonstop.
Then dinner turns into grazing.
Something sweet.
Something crunchy.
And you tell yourself you’ve ruined it… again.
But here’s what’s really happening.
When you under eat all day, your body goes into protection mode.
It slows things down.
It increases cravings.
It holds onto body fat especially around your belly.
Not because you’re lazy.
Because you’re stressed.
Eating less isn’t the same as losing fat.
Fueling your body consistently is what creates change.
When my clients start eating proper meals earlier in the day:
Energy stabilises.
Cravings calm down.
Evening snacking drops.
Fat loss finally feels steady.
You don’t need more discipline.
You need a better structure.
If this sounds like you, I made a free Sustainable Weight Loss guide that shows you how to fuel your body without cutting everything out.
