Good morning everyone! I wish I was posting with better news. But here we go...

Regrettably, due to a recent illness diagnosis and family situation, I won't be taking on new birth clients for the rest of the year. I realise this puts a lot of families at an unease with the lack of doulas for on base births. I wish so much that I could do it all and it grieves my heart to be stepping back.

However, I'm still available for prenatal appointments focused on comfort measures, education, and birth planning. Your understanding is greatly appreciated, and existing clients will not be affected. Thank you immensely for your support during this challenging time and over the last 7 years here..

Exciting news! My favorite thing ever gets to happen... I get to say yes to a family's enquiry. As most of you know my year books up super fast and it always breaks my heart to say I can't to an amazing family looking for a doula.

This little one's arrival was so chill and mama controlled. It was a beautiful space to be in and awe inspiring, as a support person, to behold. , congratulations on your beautiful little dude! ❤️

The birth reflection service is a confidential, midwifery-run service for mothers who have given birth within west Suffolk 💝

Birth reflections gives you the opportunity to discuss your birth experience with us. We offer all new parents the opportunity to come back and speak to us.

We are a team of four midwives and run two clinics a month. The appointments are over the phone and can last up to one hour. We have access to your medical notes and use these as a timeline to discuss your birth experience.

We want to help you feel in control and empowered after such a life changing event.

You can self-refer to our birth reflection service within the immediate postnatal period up until a year postnatal.

The average waiting time for an appointment is within 8 weeks from initial contact. After your initial contact, we will send you a questionnaire which gives you the opportunity to share any queries, so we are able to prepare for your appointment and make sure this is personalised for you.
