From struggling to complete 5km during lockdown to running my longest distance ever today… what a journey. ❤️
23.24km through challenging trails, uneven terrain, narrow paths, and steep hills that tested both my legs and my mindset every step of the way.
The biggest achievement today wasn’t just completing my longest run yet. It was hitting a Half Marathon PB of 1:49, shaving 6 minutes off my Great North Run time.🥹
A few years ago, this would have felt impossible. But consistency beats motivation every time.🙏🏼
The early mornings, the tough sessions, the setbacks, and the decision to keep showing up have all added up to this moment.😅🥲
Today’s run is proof that progress doesn’t happen overnight. It happens when you keep going, even when it’s hard. When you trust the process. When you refuse to quit.💪🏼‼️
To anyone at the start of their journey: the things you struggle with today can become the things you’re proudest of tomorrow.
