Most people think the diet starts when the shoot gets booked.

It doesn’t.

It starts the day you decide you’re done being ‘average’.

Guy went all in with Beyond in October.

Not to a meal plan.

Not to a macro calculator.

But to the version of himself who was ready to stop being “in decent shape”...

And start taking it to that NEXT level.

(The name, Saggy T**s was getting thrown around back then 😂)

Because he had that classic look:

Trains hard. Eats well-ish.

But not quite peeled. Not quite sharp as he would have liked.

Well.. We fixed that.

Here’s exactly how we built the transformation.

October - The Entry Point (81KG)

We set the date. June shoot.

Reverse countdown locked in.

First phase?

Build without ballooning.

We didn’t chase weight.

We chased tissue. Strength. Stability.

Calories were in a tight surplus.

No ‘dirty’ bulk.

This was the Lean Build Phase.

Do the quiet work. Stack the reps. Stay close to shoot-ready without anyone noticing.

March - Countdown Begins (78KG)

Now we’d built the base, we pull the pin.

Aggression ramped.

Cardio in.

Volume high.

Guy didn’t complain.

Didn’t “feel flat”.

Didn’t send me a food pic asking “can I have this?”

He executed.

Every lever was pulled based on data.

No panic drops. No new macros every Monday.

April - Mid-Cut (75KG)

The gritty middle.

Calories at their lowest.

Steps at their highest.

Most people fold here.

But Guy just kept showing up.

Sessions were a masterclass.

Every check-in on the button.

No shinny objects.

Just feedback, adjustments, and action.

June - Final Push (72KG)

The final 4 weeks?

Dialled.

Cardio bumped.

Volume pushed.

A strategic re-feed slotted in to fuel the finish.

Then came peak week.

Training tapered.

Carbs loaded.

Water dropped.

Guy came in full, dry, and carved to bits.

Legit might’ve scared the lens off .

End result?

81KG - 72KG.

Just a bloke who set a deadline…

And backed himself harder than he ever had before.

Sarah didn’t need another diet.

The diet isn’t the hard part.

I know that sounds backwards.

Everyone bangs on about how brutal cutting is.

The hunger. The low energy. The mental fog.

And yeah, it’s not fun.

But it’s not the hard part.

The hard part is what comes after. When you’re already lean, already drained, and you’ve got to push into territory you’ve never been in before.

Peak week. The photoshoot shred. Whatever you want to call it.

That’s where most people fall apart.

Hugo didn’t.

came to me with a goal most guys have - get back to a shape he actually feels confident in.

He’d been stuck in that cycle. In shape for a bit, falls off, starts again, never quite keeps the results.

No structure. No targets. Just hoping something would eventually stick.

When he joined the team, we built the roadmap from day one.

Phase 1 - Dropping the body fat.

Calories down. Steps up. Training dialled in.

It’s monotonous.

My clients would probably tell you they hate this phase.

But it’s the foundation everything else is built on.

Phase 2 - Building the muscle.

This is where it gets fun. More food. More energy.

Hitting PBs you didn’t think were possible. Hugo was putting up numbers on bench, squat, and pull-ups he’d never touched before.

Phase 3 - The photoshoot shred.

Calories cut to the bone. Energy running on fumes.

The biggest mental battle of the entire journey.

But this is where that holy s*it result is made.

Hugo dropped 15kg across the journey.

Came out the other side in the best shape of his life.

Even stopped reaching for his asthma pump because his fitness had improved that much.

Two years of showing up. And a result that speaks for itself.

Most people approach weight loss like they’re running toward a finish line.

lauren.fit did the opposite.

She started at the finish line and worked backwards.

Here’s what I mean...

When Alyssa joined my Beyond program, she had a big photo shoot in Dubai.

Plus her honeymoon right after.

She didn’t want to just “lose some weight.”

Alyssa wanted to look incredible on specific dates.

So we reverse engineered the whole thing.

Step 1: We marked the shoot date on the calendar.

Step 2: We worked backwards week by week.

Each week had a specific focus. When to push hard. When to back off. When to refeed strategically.

No guessing. No “let’s see what happens.”

The result?

She dropped 18 pounds and crushed both the Dubai shoot and looked insane for her honeymoon.

When you have this one trait, your physique potential is genuinely endless.

Resilience.

When first reached out to join the Beyond team with his wife , the goal was simple.

Unlock his raw potential, both mentally and physically.

But here’s the thing about Dan’s resilience.

It wasn’t built overnight. It was forged through failure.

He’d tried dieting himself. Tried bootcamps. Tried face to face personal training.

Nothing clicked.

The needle wouldn’t budge.

So when we had our first call, everything went on the table.

No BS diet tactics. No “bro, legend, champion” nonsense.

Most of the best things in my life started as something I was scared to say yes to.

Not because it was wrong…

But because it meant change.

New places.

New people.

New versions of me.

Every time I’ve grown, it’s been uncomfortable first.

That’s how you know it matters.

Saying no feels safe.

Saying yes is what moves you.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.

(I know I certainly don’t 😂)

You just need to be brave enough to start.
