Booking a registrar first can limit your options more than you realise;

The ceremony isn’t just the ‘bit before everything else’, it’s the bit that makes ‘everything else’ make sense;

You don’t have to include anything just because you’ve seen it at other weddings;

The words matter more than you think - they’re what people remember.

1. Getting to know as much as possible about my couples before I write a single word;
2. Words that sound like the couple, not just something copied from the internet;
3. Nothing included just because it’s ‘traditional’ — it has to actually mean something to you;
4. Space for real emotion (even if that means pausing);
5. A ceremony that fits the couple — not a template;
