So last weekend I took a lil trip up to Aviemore for my birthday๐ŸŽโ›ฐ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

On the Saturday we decided to go on a nice long hike walking almost 7 Miles! ๐Ÿฅพ

We started off at Loch Morlich and walked all the way to the Green Loch ( An Lochan Uaine)๐Ÿ˜

Pictures honestly donโ€™t do this place justice ๐Ÿ“ธ๐ŸŒ„โ—๏ธ

Going on nice scenic walks is so good for your mentality, getting the fresh air into your lungs.

I honestly felt amazing ! (Although my legs were killing me the next day๐Ÿ˜…)

Another fantastic session today from Victoria Barr๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Although Victoria has only been with myself for 3 weeks, I can see a HUGE difference in her fitness levels already ! The hard work is certainly paying off ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Massive well done to Ruth Newall this morning for absolutely smashing a tabata workout ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Although we had a few technical issues starting the class we managed to get through it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

There are 2 types of motivation:

1๏ธโƒฃ ๐™€๐™ญ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™จ๐™ž๐™˜- This is award driven behaviour, eg wanting to fit into a pair of jeans or aiming for a specific weight.

2๏ธโƒฃ ๐™„๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™จ๐™ž๐™˜- The act of doing something without an external reward. Such as doing something because itโ€™s enjoyable, fun or important to you.

There are multiple reasons why people may not be motivated to do exercise:

โŒSedentary Jobs & Lifestyle
โŒFear of exercising
โŒBusy Lifestyles
โŒDislike to exercise

And the list is endless......

So what can I do to help YOU motivated to exercise

1๏ธโƒฃ Workout Buddy ๐Ÿ‘ฏ- Do a workout with company. A study by Kansas University demonstrated that working out with a friend increases the intensity of your workout by 200%โ€ผ๏ธ

2๏ธโƒฃ Music ๐ŸŽถ- Create your own banging playlist to work out to

3๏ธโƒฃ Get a Coach/ PT ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ- they keep you on track and constantly push for you to achieve your own goals ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธME

4๏ธโƒฃ Caffeineโ˜•๏ธ- gives you that extra boost of energy pre workout

5๏ธโƒฃ Set Small Goals ๐Ÿฅ…- feel accomplished when you achieve them example (do 20 squats)

Excellent session tonight from Alisha Wright๐Ÿ”ฅ

Tonightโ€™s class consisted of โ€œDescending Repsโ€ โฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธ

This is when you start off by doing 10reps of each exercise , then drop down to 9 reps then 8 and so on, all the way to 1 rep ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ฐ

We did this exact session almost 2 months ago where I timed Alisha at how quickly she could complete the full workout. โฑ

After completing it again tonight she absolutely SMASHED it and beat her previous time by almost 15 MINUTESโ€ผ๏ธ

So so proud of you and what you have achieved over the past few months ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ
