🌧️ RAIN DOESN’T STOP STOMP! 💚

Ladies, if we only exercised when the weather was lovely, we’d spend half the year indoors!

And that’s exactly what we don’t want. 🍂

Getting outside through autumn and winter is so important for our physical and mental wellbeing.

🌿 Daylight helps regulate our body clocks, sleep and energy.

💪 Movement keeps our muscles strong, joints mobile and hearts healthy.

🧠 Fresh air and nature can lift our mood and help reduce stress.

❤️ Community keeps us connected, motivated and accountable when it’s tempting to stay home.

And here’s the thing — you rarely regret going out, but you often regret staying in!

We’re not made to spend six months hiding indoors. We need movement, daylight, nature and each other.

So grab your waterproof, embrace the muddy trainers and keep showing up!

A little rain won’t hurt us. Six months of missed opportunities to move certainly won’t help us!

💚 Haven’t booked your STOMPs this week? Do it now!

Get your sessions in the diary, make that commitment to yourself and let us help you stay strong, healthy and motivated right through winter.

👉 Head to your STOMP booking page and book your sessions for the week ahead. And if you haven’t tried us yet, your first STOMP is FREE!

No pressure. No shouting. Just progress. Rain or shine. 💚

There’s a reason we take our workouts into the trees. 🌲✨

Exercising in a pine forest isn’t just beautiful—it actually changes your body and brain chemistry in ways a four-walled gym never could.
When you train outdoors surrounded by pines, you’re not just moving your body; you’re giving your entire nervous system a complete reset.

Here’s what happens when you swap the indoor gym for the forest:

🌿 Supercharged Immunity: Trees release natural airborne compounds called phytoncides that actively boost your immune system while you exercise.

🫁 Cleaner, Deeper Breathing: Oxygen-dense pine air fuels your muscles and helps clear your airways.

📉 Slashed Stress Levels: Natural surroundings calm your nervous system, dropping cortisol faster than indoor training.

💤 Restorative Sleep: Exposure to natural daylight and fresh air resets your circadian rhythm for deeper overnight recovery.

🧠 Zero Brain Fog: The sights, sounds, and scents of nature clear cognitive overload and leave you feeling clear-headed and energized.

No shouting. No pressure. Just progress. 💚

💚 WORLD MENOPAUSE DAY | 18 OCTOBER

Menopause isn’t a disease. It’s a natural stage of life. But that doesn’t mean women should simply be expected to put up with the symptoms or struggle through it.

As a former nurse, personal trainer and Menopause Wellness Coach, I feel passionately about helping women understand what’s happening to their bodies and, more importantly, what they can do to support themselves.

Because there is so much we can do.

💚 Strength training helps protect our muscles, bones and long-term independence.

💚 Regular cardiovascular exercise supports heart health, stamina and metabolic health.

💚 Movement in nature can help reduce stress, lift our mood and improve our sense of wellbeing.

💚 Community and connection remind us that we don’t have to navigate this stage of life alone.

And perhaps most importantly, we need to stop thinking that exercise has to leave us exhausted to be effective.

It doesn’t.

At STOMP, we believe in sustainable movement. Building strength, improving fitness, spending time outdoors and enjoying the company of others.

No pressure. No shouting. No judgement. Just support and progress.

Menopause is not the end of feeling strong, fit or confident. For many women, it can be the beginning of a much better understanding of their bodies and what they need.

Let’s help women feel informed, supported and empowered through every stage of midlife.

And let’s keep moving. 💚

Have we made fitness too complicated? 🌿

It’s Saturday, and I’ve been thinking about what being healthy really means for women, particularly as we get older.

We hear so much about what we should be doing.

More strength training.
More protein.
More steps.
Less alcohol.
Better sleep.
More recovery.

And yes, all of these things matter.

But somewhere in all that advice, I wonder whether we’re making something quite simple feel unnecessarily complicated.

We know that exercise is good for us. We know that drinking less alcohol benefits our health. We know that strength, cardiovascular fitness and good nutrition become increasingly important as we age.

But knowing what to do and finding a way to make it part of everyday life are two very different things.

And that’s what interests me most.

How do we help women build healthy habits they actually enjoy and want to maintain?

At STOMP, we believe exercise should fit into your life, not take it over.

We walk, we build strength, we get our hearts working, we spend time in nature and we connect with other people.

And then we go off and enjoy our weekends.

A lovely lunch, time with friends, perhaps a glass of w**e if that’s your choice.

Not because we’ve earned it through exercise, or because Monday is the day to start being healthy again.

But because health is about the bigger picture.

One workout doesn’t make you fit, just as one indulgent Saturday doesn’t define your health.

It’s what we do consistently, over months and years, that really matters.

I want women to see exercise as something that adds to their lives, not another thing they have to get right.

That’s the thinking behind STOMP.

No pressure. No judgement. Just movement, support and progress.

Happy Saturday 💚

🌿 STRONG DOESN’T HAVE TO MEAN RIGID.

A little lesson from the willow tree…

The willow doesn’t fight the wind. It bends with it.

And perhaps there’s something we can all learn from that.

Strength isn’t always about pushing harder.

Sometimes it’s about slowing down, adapting, finding balance and knowing when to rest.

At STOMP, we believe wellbeing is about so much more than fitness.

It’s about moving your body, looking after your mind, spending time in nature and feeling connected to others.

🌿 Bend when you need to.
💚 Stay grounded.
🌳 Keep growing.

Strength comes in many forms.

Ageing is inevitable. Getting weaker doesn’t have to be! 💚🌳

Meet Baza! 💪 Proof that strength, balance and a sense of adventure belong at EVERY age.

At STOMP, we believe fitness is about so much more than how you look. It’s about what your body can DO.

Getting up off the floor, climbing hills, staying steady on your feet, carrying the shopping and saying YES to more adventures.

And who says personal training needs four walls and a gym full of equipment?

We take strength training outdoors too, making the most of nature and everything around us. 🌿

Because the goal isn’t just to live longer. It’s to stay strong, independent and enjoy every bit of life along the way.

Train for life. Not just for fitness.

Fancy giving outdoor personal training a go? Come and STOMP with us! 💚

Yesterday was World Mental Health Day 🌿💚

But looking after our mental health isn’t something we should think about just once a year.

Sometimes, the simplest things make the biggest difference.

A walk through the trees.
Fresh air in your lungs.
The sound of nature.
A little movement.
A conversation with someone who understands.

Time outdoors can help reduce stress, lift our mood and give our minds a much-needed break.

At STOMP, we see it every day. People arrive carrying the stresses of life and leave feeling a little lighter, stronger and more connected.

You don’t always need to push harder to feel better. Sometimes you just need to step outside.

So here’s your reminder this Sunday: make time for yourself. Find some trees, take a walk and let nature do its thing. 🌲

Movement is good for the body. Nature is good for the mind. And doing it together can be even better.
