4 years ago today I took the first ever BellaTrix Burlesque class. Wow! 4 years!
I just want to thank everyone who has been on this amazing journey which has seen us achieve things I could never have imagined ❤️ I’m so proud of every single one of you beautiful souls. With the most sparkly thanks going to my beautiful sister from another life, Birdy Bordeaux who stepped in when I needed her, without hesitation, to keep the burly flag flying and with that she totally upped the game! And a super special shout out to the wonderful Angela Leigh who has helped keep Rach and myself organised from day one 🙌 Everyone is incredible ❤️ I watch from afar with great love and gratitude and I’m really proud of the community we have all created. Last night we had a Burly Girly night out!!! Was fantastic seeing fellow dancers and talent!!! What a great night!!

✨As a tutor at BellaTrix Burlesque, my main focus and goal is to empower, support and encourage. Not to get in any spotlights, not create an image that is unrealistic, not even to get the steps right myself! It’s about learning, growing, inspiring, laughing, crying and loving, together as a group.
❤️I feel It’s so important to make empowerment and dance accessible for everyone and anyone, to create a starting point for self love and kindness and to stick a big middle finger up at anything or anyone who tries to convince us that our bodies should look a certain way, we should talk a certain way, behave a certain way, have this job, that car, this hair cut, that style of clothing…ha! NOPE! 🙂‍↔️ . Find joy in the shimmers, age in whatever way makes you smile, wear the dress, ask them out, eat the darn cake, laugh the loudest and dance as if EVERYONE is watching and your gunna do it anyway!!!! 🥰💖💋 # #

Everyone was absolute HOT STUFF this evening!!! Both classes back to back awesomeness! In Our beginners 7pm-8pm class we did a lovely fundamentals routine and in the second class 8pm-9pm we visited our Full Monty Routine!!!
