What a wonderful morning we have had at our Termly Open Day here at New World Nursery! It was lovely to meet so many new families and to have the opportunity to share what makes our nursery such a special place.
A huge thank you goes to our incredible staff team for giving up their Saturday morning to attend and support the event. Their dedication, enthusiasm and passion for providing the very best early years education for our children never go unnoticed. Each and every member of the team played an important role in making the morning such a success.

Our Early Years Teacher, Abbie, was invited to be a guest speaker at Bunny Hill to share the procedures and practices we use to prepare children for a successful transition to primary school.
Following a visit to New World, Louise Stephenson, Advisory Teacher from Together for Children, invited Abbie to present our approach to a group of Early Years practitioners, school teachers and SENDCOs from local settings. Abbie shared the strategies and procedures we have in place to ensure children are school-ready and confident as they move on to the next stage of their education.
We are incredibly proud of Abbie for representing New World and sharing her expertise with colleagues from across the local area. Well done Abbie on this fantastic achievement!

It’s been Maria’s birthday this week! Sending lots of love on her special day 🎈

🐠 Our little ones in our Discoverer’s have been having the most explorative, curious fun through a variety of messy and sensory tuff tray activities! From scooping and splashing in our Under The Sea themed trays to planting, digging and discovering textures through our Spring and Growing experiences, the children have loved using their senses to investigate the world around them. These hands-on activities encourage creativity, communication and confidence as children learn through play together. We love watching our children belong within their nurturing environment, achieve new skills through exploration, and thrive as independent, curious learners every single day! 🪴

Our preschool children have been exploring emotions and learning how important it is to express how they feel. During group time, the children have been having thoughtful discussions about their emotions, sharing when they feel happy, excited or sad. Our staff have been encouraging every child to feel safe, secure and confident in talking about their feelings in a supportive environment. These important discussions then extended into their daily activity where our children were able to share how they were feeling with their friends. Through these conversations, the children are developing empathy, confidence and positive communication skills. 💛
