Here at Monkey Puzzle we can care for up to 48 children in our light and spacious day nursery, offering childcare of the highest quality. Your child will benefit from a secure environment, catering for children bet

We can offer them the chance to learn and play in calming surroundings which has been specifically designed to create a loving, homely and safe environment for your child. We have two dedicated nursery spaces for the different age ranges, including mobile and non-mobile babies. Each room reflects the seven areas of learning as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage and is designed to be accessible to every child. We are open Monday to Friday – 51 weeks of the year

We offer full day sessions from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm

Morning sessions from 7.30 am to 1 pm

Afternoon sessions 1 pm to 6.30 pm

All main meals and snacks prepared on site

Regular classes including Sports for Kids, Stretch and Grow and Theatre Bugs

Outdoor classroom

Our fees are inclusive of freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and drinks. Daily menus are carefully selected by a professional nutritionist to meet energy requirements of growing children. Masterchefs in the making! 🍕✨
Today our little ones loved making their very own pizzas from scratch. From rolling out the dough and spreading the tomato sauce to sprinkling on their favorite toppings peppers, mushrooms, cheese, ham, and herbs they took complete charge of their creations. The happiest moment was definitely getting to eat their hard work!

Babies: Explored Summer, Under the Sea, and Shapes through rich sensory textures and bold colors.
Tweenies & Preschoolers: Dove into the Water Cycle, painted vibrant Sunflower Fields, and shared our Story of the Month, “Cooler Than Lemonade”!

Jumping, balancing, and problem-solving on today’s obstacle course! ⭕🔺 The children showed off fantastic body control as they jumped through hula hoops and practiced balancing on one foot to flip slanting cones straight! A brilliant test of balance and coordination! 💪✨

✨ PSED & Cognition: Focus, motor planning, and determination to finish the track.

Little chefs at work! 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 Today, the children took part in a fun, hands-on cooking activity. Each child was given a hard-boiled egg to peel independently, carefully picking off the shell before using a fork to mash their egg and mix it with mayonnaise for a tasty snack! 🥚✨
Learning Goals:
Physical Development (Fine Motor Skills): Pinching and peeling eggshells strengthens small hand muscles and finger dexterity. Mashing with a fork builds hand-eye coordination and wrist control.

Parachute Play in the Garden! 🎪☀️
Our garden was filled with giggles today during our parachute games! The children held on tight as they sat in a circle, lifted the parachute up and down together, and loved taking turns hiding underneath the giant colorful canopy.
Learning Goals:
Physical Development: Strengthens gross motor skills, grip control, and whole-body coordination through lifting and pulling.
PSED (Social Skills): Encourages teamwork, cooperative play, and waiting for turns in a group setting.
Communication & Language: Builds listening and attention skills as children follow group instructions (up, down, inside, hide!).

Musical Pass the Ball! 🎵⚽️
Our garden was full of laughter today during a fun game of pass the ball! When the music played, the children passed the ball around, and whenever it stopped, whoever held the ball took the spotlight to sing a song or show off their best dance moves!
Learning Goals:
Physical Development: Improves spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and active movement through dancing and passing.
PSED & Expressive Arts: Builds self-confidence to perform in front of peers while taking turns and sharing group joy.
