Our Aims/Vision
We are a happy and caring school where a love of learning is inspired in our children by a stimulating environment. Every child is valued and respected and encouraged to be an independent learner, and our children’s achievements are celebrated. We have high expectations of positive behaviour and attitudes, and Ofsted report that the children at Turvey Primary School feel safe and s

The school enjoys a good relationship with our children, families and wider community and we encourage the children to take a full part in our community such as our gardening projects, local competitions and celebrations at our local church. We aim for our children to develop a diverse cultural awareness and ultimately to become responsible citizens for the future. SCHOOL VISION

Our shared vision is to provide a happy and stimulating learning environment where children thrive and will recognise and achieve their full potential, so that they can become good citizens of the future.
… a friendly, caring place where children and adults feel they make a contribution and are valued as individuals.
… a place of good behaviour and values, where children learn respect for themselves and others.
…a safe place where children develop a love of learning inspired by quality teaching that builds upon strengths and talents.
… a partnership between children, parents, staff, governors and the community as a whole.

Yesterday the year 6 had their leavers' assembly where they put on a moving performance which included lots of singing, dancing and comical sketches. They also shared memories from their time at Turvey Primary as well as their aspirations for the future. We wish them all the best as they move up to secondary school.

19th June 2026: Lions had their very last trip as a whole class, venturing off to Irchester Country Park. After squeezing in a fun session at the main playground, we set off to explore the park, enjoying a lovely scenic walk, stopping along the way to sketch various plants and minibeasts, as well as making the most of the excellent play facilities. To end the visit, we enjoyed our picnic lunch, overlooking the old quarry whilst taking in the spectacular views!
