Ever wondered why some shelves sag after a year and others don’t?

Once a shelf goes past a metre wide, we don’t just use a single board. We double it up with two layers of 18mm, bond a length of flat bar steel in between, then cap the front so it reads as one solid piece. Load it with books, it’s not going anywhere.

Nobody will ever see the steel, but you’ll notice it in ten years when it’s still dead straight. customfurniture

For this magnificent wardrobe our client had a vision of a full height bank of wardrobes accross the entire side of their bedroom… but there was a chimney shaped elephant in the room! So we came up with the solution of creating this stepped front wardrobe which gave us enough depth for some really useful shelved wardrobes and shoe storage accross the front of the chimney breast. The absolute beauty of bespoke fitted furniture and we can not be more chuffed with the way they turned out 🙌🙌

Even the bunny doorstop had a go!! I may or may not have 🤔🤔…. This is a recent mid sleeper bunk bed we’ve created for a client alongside a led lit bookcase and shaker style wardrobe. And it even has a detachable slide to really top it off!

Small Appliance garage in this beautiful handmade kitchen that we’ve built…. A great way to stow away those less visually appealing kitchen appliances but easy enough to get to when they are needed.
