Hello!
We are looking for two keen individuals to take over the role of Truro Academic Representitives for Exeter Acute Care and Anaesthetics Society. You will be responsible for liaising with clincians at the hospital to organise teaches and talks through the society. We will need someone enthusiastic and outgoing, who can use their initiative to to find clinicians interested in teaching. You will also be responsible for liasing with 3rd and 4th years to organise SimMan sessions that have been very well received by everyone who has done it!.

So if you have an interest in Emergency medicine or anaesthetics, this will look great on your CV! If you would like to apply please send a short paragraph (200 words max) stating why you want to be part of the committee and what skills you would bring to the committee/any experience you have.

Hi All,

EACAS are excited to announce that they will be subsidising tickets for the PenEMTC conference in May:

We will be subsidising a limited number of tickets and paying for transport to and from the conference on both days.

Unfortunately due to a absence of funding from the Exeter Guild, this is only open to PCMD students at this time. We are looking into further funding from the Guild for Exeter Students

Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis with priority given to preexisting members. To reserve your subsidised ticket please email [email protected] with the following details:

The first of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh's Evening Medical Update series is being streamed to Richard Farrow Lecture Theatre in KSpa on Tuesday 27th October from 18:00.

The EMUs cover the "Top Medical Presentations" and "Emergency Presentations" as defined in the UK General Internal Medicine training curriculum. This is the first in the series which covers 26 topics over 2 -3 years, with one update a month starting this Tuesday 27th October.
