This writer, instructor , mentor and wilderness guide needs no introduction to those ‘in the know’.
Quite frankly this book is what you would precisely expect from Paul . Basically “If a job is worth doing , it’s worth doing well !”
We highly recommend it to every outdoors person , anyone who spends time in nature and those interested in both ‘bushcraft and survival’.
Fantastic layout , photography and packed with valuable information.

“Getting our young people comfortable with being outdoors” our view on Bushcraft and Wilderness Living.. We explored much of the terminology we now use like for instance ; Wilderness , Thrive , Perception, Survival , Ethnobotany etc etc .How we embrace any subject of learning is the key . Teaching young folk to ask questions , embrace knowledge and to be enthused is precisely how Lucy and I start the syllabus. But not just talking or delivering ,more importantly listening.
Next week we study Firecraft - huge subject and very engaging !

Landrover’s , more especially ‘proper ones’ , have always been a part of our ‘outdoor adventures and life’. We are glad to report that our French neighbours ‘get it’ .Over nearly 2,000 miles these amazing vehicles featured everywhere. Very affirming!

Absolutely loved our ‘French natural odyssey’ . From North to South and back again with time spent in Les Alpilles. Lucy and I loved it . So much nature , fantastic changes ‘in the nature’ as we travelled enjoying the diversity.
