❗️Rock Climbing Bookings Postponed ❗️

Due to a technical issue, bookings for Rock Climbing have been postponed until tomorrow evening at 5pm.

🧗‍♀️ROCK CLIMBING RETURNS🧗‍♂️

Our Rock Climbing sessions are back by popular demand. Sessions are designed to develop confidence, coordination and climbing skills in a fun and supportive environment. These sessions will introduce children to the basics of rock climbing, including climbing techniques, safety procedures, and problem-solving skills through a range of age-appropriate activities and challenges 🤩.

Class Information:
⏰1:30-2:30pm - P1-3 Beginner Class (accompanying adult must stay and be willing to help their own child where necessary)
⏰2:30-3:30pm - P4-7 Beginner Class
⏰3:30-4:30pm - P4-7 Intermediate Class (must have previously completed the beginner class or have suitable climbing experience)

Venue: Foresters Park Indoor Climbing Wall

Bookings open at 5pm on Tuesday 25th August 2026, spaces fill fast so be sure to book quick to avoid dissapointment.

🕒 Hours: 28 hours per week

💷 Salary: £36,735 - £41,078 pro rata (£20.13 - £22.51 per hour)

FREE HOCKEY P4-7 AND INTERNATIONAL MATCHES 🏑
✨Sunday 2nd August 2026 @ Peffermill Playing Fields✨

From 9:30am-11:30am, pupils can enjoy two hours of free hockey at Peffermill Playing Fields, taking part in Fun 4s and Super 6s!

Afterwards, players will have a meet and greet with the senior men and women and receive 2 signed photos to keep. We will then move to the stands to cheer for Scotland as they take on Chile and South Africa! 🏑

There will be plenty more to benefit from including face painting and a raffle to win a signed playing shirt 👕 🖋️ 🎨

In partnership with East Lothian Council, Team United are running summer activity camps for children with autism and neurodiverse conditions 🤩.

Camp 1: Haddington (20th - 23rd July)

Children and young adults can enjoy free swimming at pools across East Lothian as part of the Scottish Government’s Summer of Sport 2026 scheme.
The free sessions will be available for all swimmers aged 26 and under from Monday, 29 June until Friday, 7 August.
Free family swimming sessions will also allow up to two parents or carers to accompany children and young people in the water.
We're providing this free access along with Enjoy Leisure from 11am each day during normal public swimming times at five pools in the county - Aubigny Sports Centre in Haddington, Mercat Gait Centre in Prestonpans, Dunbar Leisure Pool, Musselburgh Sports Centre and North Berwick Sports Centre.
We're using a £243,000 award from the £20 million Summer of Sport national initiative - which is funded by the Scottish Government and facilitated by sportscotland - to cover the costs.
The free swims are aimed at reducing barriers to participation in sport so more young people have the chance to stay healthy and active.
