If you're bringing the kids to Delapré Food Festival this weekend, why not book them on to a kids cookery class with Rachel Wilson from Cookery Doodle Doo. Rachel will help them create a Yoghurt Berry Mess - a delicious summer dessert swirled with berries, yoghurt and lemon curd and layered with biscuit and meringue. You might even get a spoonful if you're quick. Or wear out the little ones on the bouncy castle.

There are also free activities for kids in the walled garden -story telling sessions with Usborne Books, a treasure hunt and a seed table where your kids can sew an edible plant to take home and grow.

A fabulous array of food and drink stalls will grace the lawns of Delapré Abbey on Saturday and Sunday for the first Delapré Food Festival as we bring the historic house to life for a celebration of artisan food and drink over one grand summer weekend.

As well as 80 exhibitors, there are also chef demonstrations, wine and gin tasting sessions, cheese masterclasses, cocktail masterclasses, a street food market featuring ten epic vendors, house tours, afternoon teas, kids cookery classes, live music and free kids activities in the walled garden.

If you came to Towcester Food Festival, you will remember Gaz - he's a hilarious Brummie and he makes delicious Fuffle bars. Fuffle? Is it a fudge or is a truffle? We don't know. You tell us.

Towcester Food Festival is on the move. We are heading to Delapré Abbey to recreate our fab food fest in their beautiful grounds. Heaven for foodies and featuring all the temptations of Towcester, the festival will take place on June 7 and 8 in 2025.
