Sled Challenge! 🛷

STEM club members were challenged to make a sled that could pull Mr De Couto across P2, but as an extra test Mr De Couto (in full safety gear!) risked his life to test the sleds on the grass in the absence of snow. We advise that you do not try this at home!

Well done to all and a big thank you to Mr De Couto for being our crash dummy and the science technicians for supervising and judging.

On Wednesday, our Year 7 students took our donation to Riviera Life Church for their Christmas Hamper appeal.
It was wonderful to see the work they do to support people in the local community. Thank you to all in our school community for contributing to this.

🏀 U14 Basketball: STCM vs CFGS 🏀

Our most recent match up against was a fantastic showcase for Basketball in the South West! Both teams left it all on the court, pushing each other to the limit and showing respect every step of the way.

Congratulations to Churston Ferrers Grammar School for taking the win, and we look forward to a rematch after the Christmas holidays! 🎄

Some snaps from the other week of all the wonderful cakes our year 7 students bought in for a Christmas Bake-Off !
There were so many marvelous creations to look at (and taste) the staff found it impossible to choose what to tuck into first! 🍰
The chocolate tiffin and carrot cake were stand out stars, and the marshmallow snowmen were a genius design choice!

Next Friday will be the Last Day of Term before the Christmas holidays🎄
We are inviting students to don their best christmas jumper instead of their blazer, to get into the Christmas spirit.

We will also be closing the school earlier on the last day, with students finishing at 1:30pm.
