The Connor Saunders Foundation The one and only Connor Saunders and his foundation. www.connors5.com We set up The Connor Saunders Foundation in the memory of our beloved and amazing Connor.

Connor's life was taken on the 14th April 2012 after an unprovoked attack, he was just 19 years of age. Connor was an incredible person he loved life and life loved him. Connor was kind hearted, generous, funny, loving, giving, handsome, considerate, sporty, wonderful, heroic, the list goes on and on. He loved his family, girlfriend and friends with a passion as we did him. We, as Connor's family, felt something good needed to come from this horrific tradegy as Connor would want. Our worls and hearts have been shattered and broken into a trillion pieces never to be mended again. Connors foundation supports three amazing causes close to Connor's heart -

(1) Supplying local football clubs with the lifesaving equptment Defibrillators
(2) Providing football coaching in schools for disabled and deprived children
(3) Raising awareness and donating funds to Organ Donation and Organ Transportation

Connor at the tender age of 16 signed up to be a organ donor and in result he went on to save 5 lives. He always wanted to help people and make people smile, he will be so proud that wonderful things are being in his name. Please support this foundation, 5 is Alive!! # #

Every defib presented by us, through every supporter that has donated means Connor’s legacy will live on. Our community space is safe.

Giving isn’t just about the amount of money donated. No amount is too small. It’s about making a difference.

When leaving today I was asked if the charity is funded by the council as every school should have this message. We are not.

Since visiting PCS talking to every student over the years we were told today Connor is thought of often and has changed mindsets towards violence.

Today we visited Tower House a school who supports young people with diagnosis of autism as their priority need, alongside social, emotional and mental health needs.

The staff here do some incredible work and are dedicated to the pupils based here.

I (Daz) can honestly say my heart was touched so deeply by their response, their resilience, their understanding and their listening towards Connor’s story. I was in awe of the staff and pupils.
