"My 10 year old Son has been having 1:1 sessions with Lauren for just under a year and the changes we have seen in him as a result have been nothing short of miraculous. He was suffering from low self esteem and lacked confidence at School however after only a few sessions, we saw his confidence grow. His Teachers informed us that his maths in particular had improved significantly and he seems to be putting his hand up in class more often than he was able to before.

Lauren is a warm and caring Teacher and provides a safe and engaging learning environment - he always leaves their sessions smiling and happy! Spring is almost here! 🥰 The days are getting brighter, the daffodils and crocuses are up and I'm excited to be able to take on a few new learners 🌸🌱⭐️

I have a small number of spaces available for (primary school aged) tutoring after the Easter break. Does your child struggle with their confidence in a certain subject? Multi-coloured flower complete with labels from my little student in reception. Lots of great scientific chat and questions whilst he focussed on his careful colouring and drawing 👍🏼🌱🧑🏼‍🔬

A fantastic supported story writing session with my usually-slightly-reluctant writer in year 3 🤩 Together we planned his story using a story arc, noted some exciting verbs and adjectives we might like to use, before he wrote this super opener! 🧊🗺🧭🦣… and just look at that joined up writing!!!😍

Year 6 SATs revision with my very neat & artistic student 🤩 today we were recapping & recording how to do some of the questions that cause her to have those “brain blanks” we’re all terrified of in exams!

Rhyming fun! 🐜 we read Amazing Anthony Ant, and noticed all the rhyming words. This student was fantastic at recalling them after we finished our reading, and we worked together to choose the correct phonemes to make the rhyming sounds 👍🏼

Adding using ten frames yesterday with my student in Reception. Great to recap transitioning into the teen numbers, and work on counting on from ten rather than starting at zero every time 👍🏼

Spring is here! 🐣🐰 a wonderful Easter Holiday booster session today with my little chap in EYFS. We learnt all about the frog life cycle today - and how frogspawn turns into tadpole, which grow into tiny frogs. He was transfixed! 🐸☀️

🕵🏻 Household and pencil case number hunt!🕵🏻Count, write, then order!

This student loved counting the objects I’d laid out for them, showing off their number formation (using our rhymes to help them) then very carefully lining up the numbers and objects in ascending order. Love a bit of fun learning on our feet 🙂
