Spend 90 mins with me for free, next Wed 5th June, on Zoom.

I'll be sharing a powerful technique for how to cull your own unhelpful patterns in relationships and a new language of how to describe the dynamics that we co-create with those people that we have relationships with, at home, at work, anyone you interact with.

We explore these dynamics and then identify how to move beyond old reactions and behaviours to develop a better understanding and connection.

Book your place via Ticket Tailor.

I'll then send you a worksheet next week, to accompany the call.

Your brain wants certainty.
It ruminates because it wants to file thoughts away.

🧠 Without all the information, most of the time, our brains struggle to file things, because we knew we don't have all the information.

🧠 We might hit upon a theory of why something has happened, or what someone means, but before too long, wherever we have filed that thought, it pops out again. Because our brain knows it isn't a fact.

🧠 So, here's my tip on how to quell ruminating.

🧠 Open up a file in your mind called 'The I Don't Know' file. The likelihood of your mind accepting that as a place to store concerns and worries increases significantly. Because, our clever brains know that we don't have all the info.

🧠 Give your mind a rest, let it file the information away, that it knows it cannot completely solve, right now.

🌟 You can always go back to it later. 🌟

Deliberating over a decision traps us. It takes our freedom away, it de-liberates us.
I love language and I learn a lot from studying the etymology of words and from dissecting them...scalpel...! So let's look at the word deliberation.

Decisions can be challenging and yet, with practice they can become so much easier to navigate.

Try this instead.

Do all your due considerations, think the options forwards.

Use past experience.

Then. choose one of them.

Yes, that's it. Choose.

We can never guarantee anything - so choose a path that you want to explore, no matter what the end result.

We really are kidding ourselves if we think we can mitigate all future fallouts and eventualities.

So, choose something you'd like to experience, no matter what the outcome is.

My husband and I used these words on our wedding day - 'I choose you, for what you are and what you aren't, no matter what happens.'
