I’m a huge advocate for learning through play for children of all ages 🌟

💭 JUST AN IDEA 💭

Just putting feelers out to see if people would be interested at all but I’m thinking of starting a SEN Families group 🤍
Maybe meeting once a month, having soft play, sensory play, etc for the children. A safe place for SEN parents to meet up, have tea and cake and I’d be on hand to offer advice, help supervise and possibly even host some sessions on Baby Sign / Sign Language, Fussy Eating, etc

So thought I’d reintroduce myself 🤷🏼‍♀️

As I’m sure you all know my name is Sammi, I’m 30 and live in Tiverton 🏡
I work in Children’s Services for DCC and was previously Nursery Deputy Manager 👶🏼 (for an OFSTED Outstanding Nursery), Student Teacher 👩🏼‍🏫 , SEND Specialist 🤟🏼 and run this Babysitting, RESPITE (Enabling) and Parent Support Business 👥

I’ve worked in Childcare and Education since 2007 and started this business in 2009 📅

I work very closely with local services, the council and of course local families to provide ad hoc and regular care for children of all backgrounds, abilities and needs ♥️ from evening babysitting, to week RESPITE to family support on days out.

So a little bit of personal stuff about me before we get into all the “professional” stuff. I’m a HUGE animal lover and have two cats and a dog of my own, I love being outdoors in any weather, I’m a keen baker, I love singing and being crafty (and messy). I’m very influenced by child led learning and holistic play 💕
