I have been asked to share the following with you all and thought it may be helpful xx

These are our leaflets for our service , we are a sensory room and activity hub and offer SEND activities for children but also activities for disabled adults.

Our sensory room can be booked privately for 1 hour sessions or we do have it included in two of our activity sessions (SEND social evening & messy play on Mondays ) . We have activities including Lego club , gardening , arts and crafts , bingo &games , coffee morning for parents /carers/guardians , sensory play and specific groups for children under special guardianship.

We don’t have a hoist at present but are hoping to have this in the next month but we do have wheelchair access .

If anyone's child is struggling with accessing their lunch and is entitled to free school meals you can now apply for the school/local authority to provide a shopping voucher instead so that you can give
packed lunches.

This may apply if you have had to pull your child out of education but is still registered at the school or if they have a restricted diet due to their disability/sensory needs as a few examples.
Have a look at the link for more information, there are template letters available on there for you to send into school and the council.
