From swimming lessons to Ballet and Mini Acro, we love going the extra mile to give every child the best start in life with lots of different experiences and opportunities. 🐉🌟 A golden-star adventure with Zog! 🌟🐉

Our nursery children had so much fun bringing the wonderful story of Zog to life! 📖✨ As we read together, the children acted out Zog’s adventures and all the different lessons he learns each year at dragon school — there was plenty of imagination, laughter and fantastic storytelling along the way! 🐲

Once we reached the end of the story, it was time for a challenge… could we make our very own Zog using loose parts and earn ourselves a golden star? ⭐ The children got incredibly creative, with some even using the loose parts on themselves to transform into Zog! 😍

Everyone was so proud to show off their well-earned golden stars — and because we did SUCH an amazing job, we finished by throwing golden stars into the air and trying to fly and catch them just like Zog! 🌟🐉

Such a lovely activity filled with storytelling, role play, creativity, teamwork and LOTS of imagination! ❤️

This beautiful picture captures something we absolutely love to see at nursery the wonderful friendships our children build along the way. 🥹✨

A simple moment of one friend doing another’s hair, but behind it is so much more… trust, kindness, communication, imagination and a growing sense of belonging. 🫶🏼

Watching our children form their own special friendships, build their confidence and truly blossom during their time with us is such a privilege. 🌸

Our nursery children spotted some lemons in the fruit bowl and decided they had the perfect idea… let’s make a lemon cake! 💛

The children got stuck in, exploring the lemons, measuring, mixing and pouring the ingredients together to create their very own delicious cake. There was so much excitement, laughter and fantastic learning along the way – and of course, the best part was getting to enjoy their yummy creation afterwards! 😋🍰

🍫🍭 EPOP 2026 – WHAT A DAY! 🍭🍫

Today we took 14 of our amazing Traquinas team members to enjoy a day full of fun, laughter, inspiration and learning at the very last EPOP! 💛

At Traquinas, we absolutely LOVE staff development. We believe that investing in our team, giving them opportunities to learn, be inspired and develop their practice is one of the most important ways we can continue to ensure the high quality of care and education across our nurseries. 🌱✨

And of course… we couldn’t just turn up normally!

With this year’s theme being W***y Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, we fully embraced it! 🍬🍫🎩 We dressed up, laughed A LOT and even brought along our very own Oompa Loompa! 😂🧡

Learning doesn’t have to be boring and today was the perfect example of that. We came away with new ideas, lots of inspiration and some brilliant memories together as a team.

We’re so proud that 14 members of our team gave up their Saturday to come along, learn, laugh and continue developing themselves for the children and families we care for every day. ❤️

We genuinely can’t believe this was the LAST EVER EPOP 😭… although we’re secretly hoping Vanessa might change her mind! 🤞😂

✨🌸 Magical Potion Making! 🌸✨

We had the most glorious sensory water tray filled with glitter, cinnamon and beautiful flowers, ready for our little potion makers to get creative! 🧪💫

The children loved snipping and cutting the flowers ✂️🌼, carefully using pipettes to squeeze and transfer the water 💧 and mixing together their very own magical potions!

Not only was it lots of fun, but all that cutting, squeezing, pouring and mixing was a fantastic way to develop those all-important fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. 🙌💛

So much imagination, curiosity and wonderful learning through play! 🌈✨

🌻🫧 A beautiful morning of exploring, creating and discovering! 🎨💛

Our nursery babies have been enjoying some lovely time in the garden, where they explored the beautiful sunflowers and took in their wonderful scent. 🌻👃✨

We then got creative with some cling film painting, giving our babies the opportunity to explore colours, textures and movement while letting their imaginations flow! 🎨🖐️

The sensory fun continued as we explored different animals and investigated containers filled with lots of exciting bubbles! 🫧🐘🦁 There was plenty of curiosity, reaching, touching and discovering as our babies explored the world around them through their senses.

Another wonderful morning filled with smiles, sensory experiences and lots of learning through play! 🥰🌈

We are SO excited to share that building work has officially commenced for Traquinas at The Mulberry! 🏗️💫

This marks the beginning of an incredibly exciting new chapter for Traquinas, and we can’t wait to watch our vision come to life over the coming weeks. 🥹💛

There’s lots happening behind the scenes, and we’ll be taking you along on the journey as our brand-new setting starts to take shape!

❄️🧊 Ice, ice, baby! 🧊❄️

Our nursery children had so much fun exploring ice using a variety of tools to break, tap and crunch it! 🔨 We felt the different textures as the ice began to soften and melt, noticing just how super cold it was to hold! 🥶

As we broke through the ice, we discovered some beautiful flowers, herbs and lavender hidden inside 🌸🌿💜. We used our senses to explore them, smelling the ice and noticing the lovely scents that had been frozen within it.

A wonderful sensory experience filled with exploration, curiosity, different textures and smells, while developing our fine motor skills and learning through play! 🥰

🍹🍋🍊 Fruit Cocktail Day! 🍊🍋🟩🍹

Today our little ones enjoyed a refreshing sensory experience with our very own fruit cocktail tray! We explored lemons, limes, oranges and fresh mint alongside water, giving us so many different things to discover. 💦🌿

There was lots of touching, squeezing and squishing, helping to develop those little hand muscles and fine motor skills. 🙌 We used all of our senses as we smelled the fresh fruit, had plenty of licking and tasting 👅 and discovered just how sour those lemons can be — the little shudders and funny faces were priceless! 😂🍋

Of course, no water tray would be complete without a little paddle too! 🦶💦 A wonderfully refreshing activity filled with sensory exploration, new tastes, textures and lots of fun! 🥰
