Last year, my students made cardboard cakes for which were displayed . I made one to show them what we’d be doing. Recently, I used it as inspiration to make a bigger version for the studio.

I started with five polystyrene tiers, then added paint, papier-mâché, drips and sprinkles.

The finished cake will be used as a photo prop at our birthday parties . Swipe to see how I made it 🎂

It’s official—our new Wednesday art class is going ahead! 🎉🎨

This term, the children will explore painting and collage as they create their own wonderfully individual mixed-media dog or cat.

🗓 Wednesdays, 5.30–6.30pm

Why I’m changing our logo… again! 🤍

As many of you know, Make & Create has grown so much over the last year.

Our new studio won’t just be a space for children’s art classes—it will also be home to adult classes, workshops and creative events.

Because of that, it felt like the right time to bring back my original logo. It better reflects what Make & Create is becoming and where we’re heading next.
