Pazzani & Lee Justice Academy Ltd: Contributing to National Policy

We are pleased to share that Pazzani & Lee Justice Academy, Ltd has reached a new milestone this week. Our team has formally submitted our expert evidence to the Ministry of Justice regarding the draft of the 2026 Victims' Code.
As part of our core mission to bridge the gap between academic criminology and frontline practice, we have provided insights drawn from our specialisations in victimology and violence against women and girls.
While the specifics of our submission remain part of the ongoing deliberative process, our participation reflects the Academy's commitment to ensuring that high-level research and criminological theory continue to inform the UK’s justice landscape.
We look forward to seeing how the consultation develops and to continuing our work in providing expert research and training modules across the sector.

The UK government is in the process of developing a new Victim's Code. The updates to this code include explicit requirements for needs assessment and instructions for how child victims are to be accommodated.

At Pazzani & Lee Justice Academy, we are working to assist in the development of this code, which is in the public consultation stage, and to develop training modules so criminal justice practitioners can provide much needed trauma-informed responses to victims.
