Well that's a wrap for another academic year! Thankyou for the support of all of our wonderful families that make Teversham CE Primary School the brilliant place it is- your children are incredible and your support of the school makes all the difference. It was tough to say goodbye to our Y6's but we know they are all so ready for their next adventures. We wish you all a wonderful summer!

Some photos from our recent Grand Opening. It is lovely to see the children having fun in their newly designed outside space. As you know, this has been made possible through the generosity of Bellway and contractors, project managed by the brilliant Paul Keating, to whom we are enormously grateful.

As you know, we were really keen to go ahead with our Summer Fete tomorrow afternoon, but with temperatures set to peak at this time, we have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel.

With a number of the attractions we had booked having to cancel their attendance, we do not believe we can run the event we had planned in a way that is going to be enjoyable for everyone. The safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families is always our highest priority.

The raffle will be still going ahead, with the same prizes still available. We will draw the raffle on Friday 3rd July at 3.30pm. This will take place either in the school hall or the playground/field, depending on the weather. All are welcome to attend.

Thank you very much for your understanding and continued support. As always, the safety of our school community remains our top priority.

Yesterday morning, we welcomed our local MP, staff past and present, parents, councillors, and everyone involved in bringing our new pre-school to life for its grand opening. The day couldn’t have been more perfect—the weather, the setting, and of course the children, who were delighted by a fantastic balloon artist. There was plenty of cake and drinks, along with ice poles for the children to enjoy.🍰🧁
We are incredibly proud of our new setting and the opportunity it gives us to provide the very best start to education for our early years children.🧒🏻 👦🏼👧🏼

Our Summer Fair is just around the corner, and we are working hard to make it a fantastic event for our children and the wider community. To help us achieve this, we are looking for businesses who would be happy to sponsor the fair—whether by contributing to part of the event or by sponsoring it in full.

Sponsorship would directly support the school in providing additional activities and experiences that we would otherwise be unable to offer. This includes things like bouncy castles, specialist external providers, and other exciting attractions that help make the day truly memorable for the children.

If you know a company or individual that might like to get involved, we would love to hear from you. We will proudly promote and acknowledge all sponsors / donations through our advertising and on the day itself. The sooner we hear from interested sponsors, the better, as many providers and activities are already being booked up quickly.

We have loved our first day in the new pre-school today- we will share photos of the children enjoying the space soon, but for now, here are some photos of the new space inside and out. We’ve also gained more open space where the mobile classroom and fencing used to be, improving things for the whole school. We continue to be brilliantly supported by Paul from Bellway- still to come are two new metal sheds and some lovely new play equipment for the outside area.

Everything is moving along rapidly- the mobile has gone, a new storage container is in, and new surfaces are going down....

Everything is moving along rapidly- the mobile has gone, a new storage container is in, and new surfaces are going down. We are so very grateful to Bellway who have funded all of this work for us, and particularly Paul Keating who has gone above and beyond in project managing the whole project. We cannot wait to share the finished spaces with you!
