We want to see how you've been connecting with history this summer holiday. This could be visiting a castle, museum or a historic site; it could even be watching something history related like a movie, TV Show, or musical; or maybe you walked past a memorial plaque when you were out and about.

You'll score reward points for next year before the term has even begun, what a great way to start the new academic year!

Alas, summer break must come to an end. We hope you all had an amazing few weeks off.

Staff have been in all day today and tomorrow to get ready for students' first day back, we’re
determined to start off the new academic year ready to go.

🗓 Return dates:
Year 7 & 13 - Thursday 3rd September
Year 12 - Thursday (registration only), Friday (full day)
Years 8, 9, 10, & 11 - Monday 7th September

We’ve also got several exciting events coming up this term. Don’t forget about our open
mornings running all throughout September & October; bookings are scheduled to open
soon. Our open evening is coming up for Wednesday 30th September between 4-7pm and doesn’t require booking.

We’re also pleased to announce that an event will be held soon for the grand opening of the
brand new SRP (Specialist Resource Provision) & Sixth Form Centre, we look forward to
bringing you more information on this later in the term.

We look forward to welcoming you all back top school for another amazing year of learning,
respect and belonging

🎉 Celebrating our Level 2 Results 2026! 🎉

We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 students following the publication of this year’s Level 2 results.

There are some real strengths across the results, with a number of subjects achieving very strong grades and many students making excellent progress. We are particularly pleased to celebrate strong outcomes across a range of subjects, alongside the individual achievements of students who have worked incredibly hard throughout the year. 👏

Today we bid our final farewell to our Year 13s as they collected their A-Level results. They now enter the big world and are preparing to make it as adults. 🎓

Whether you exceeded your expectations today, or didn’t do as well as you’d hoped, your life has only just begun, and you’ve still got years ahead of you to make it work, and do what YOU want to with your life.

We caught up with some of our teaching staff at prom in July to ask them what their advice would be for the Year 13s leaving us this year.
