Not long now until children are back at school.

There are lots of posts about tips & tricks available for easing children into school, especially the youngest going pre-school to infants or from junior to senior we say "the more the better" because when children know what might or might not happen chances are they will settle better.

If your children cannott settle in school please
DO NOT think you're at fault because you have not prepared them, sometimes some children do not or cannott settle in school because its "different"

However your children get on in the first few weeks of thier "new worlds" things usually iron theselves out.......and parents please remember all any of us can ever do is our best.....whatever the best might look like💞

The loss to society of
Professor Jason Arday

There are no words that will make those who loved
Professor Arday feel better but, as head of an organisation that promotes wellbeing for everyone I feel we must address it.

Many will say he took his life because he was hounded, by the press, by those who felt he'd been given a pass on alleged plaigarism, and I am positive that many of us know how that might feel.

Whilst people can speculate, NONE OF US can ever begin to know what was going through his mind, but the one thing we all know is that when people feel as bad as he did they feel ALONE & like no one will ever understand.

Today we were fortunate enough to be gifted a large metal document filing cabinet along with a smaller under the desk set of drawers from Ellisons Solicitors Frinton on Sea......that small act of kindness means we can spend time doing what we do best instead of fundraising to replace things

Thankyou to anyone who nominated us, everyone who has voted for us.....and it goes without saying every single person who works with us including our Associate Therapists, Trainee Therapists on placement, University, National Lottery & & her training team, for your faith in us & a very special mention to Jess Davis who helped no end to rally the troops back in the day and last but not least my husband for his support of Tendring Wellbeing and Intervention Services CIC and all it does
