I'm excited to continue my journey as a 2026 Seesaw Ambassador! 💚

One of my favourite Seesaw tips is uploading your existing powerpoint and adding in frames to engage all pupils in answering certain questions rather than asking for 'hands up!' in the classroom - all pupils engaged, no passive learners, easy to incorporate and not time consuming!

Paul recently travelled to Leamington Spa to deliver Google Classroom training for the staff at Whitnash Primary School

The school is beginning its Google for Education Classroom journey, and the session helped staff get set up, create assignments, share work with pupils and explore how to review and mark submissions.

Many thanks to everyone at Whitnash Primary School for such a warm welcome. We hope the staff found the training useful and feel more confident using Google Classroom moving forward.

Is your school looking for training on Google Classroom or other Google Workspace tools?

Get in touch with the RoarTech team at [email protected] to discuss how we can support your staff.

It was lovely to receive an email from St Mary’s RC Primary School to hear that the pupils have been using Paul's recent Computing at School resource of the month: The Micro:bit Penalty Shoot Out Game.

Thanks for sending over a video and photos of the pupils engaging with the code and playing out the game.

With England in action against Argentina tonight, will that game also go to a penalty shoot out?! 😬

We’ve recently had the pleasure of working with Redhill Primary Academy and Thomas Telford Primary to support the development of a robotics curriculum for their physical computing kit.

The aim was to make sure the equipment is not just used as an add-on, but is carefully integrated into their existing curriculum with clear progression across year groups.

Once the curriculum was mapped out, staff training followed during a recent PD Day, giving teachers the chance to get hands-on with the kit ahead of launching the new approach in September.

To support the day, we were also joined by Chris from VEX Robotics and Luke from TTS Resources who helped train staff on the equipment they supplied.

The afternoon session then focused on Microsoft Copilot and associated tools, looking at how they can support staff with content creation, teaching and learning, and reducing workload.

All of this took place in 30+ degree heat, but the staff were fully engaged throughout and excited about taking this new technology into the 2026–27 academic year.

It has been a real pleasure to support both schools on this journey, and we’re looking forward to seeing how their robotics and AI work continues to develop next year.

This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming School Business Managers and Admin Staff from across Shropshire for our final CPD event of the academic year.

During the session, we explored how tools like Canva, Microsoft To Do and Planner can help school office teams save time, stay organised and work more efficiently. We also showcased how automated workflows can streamline everyday admin tasks and reduce some of the manual workload behind the scenes.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us this morning. It was great to see so many schools represented and such positive discussions throughout the session.

Special thanks also to Wilfred Owen Primary School for hosting the event.

We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again next academic year for more training and support.

As this was our final CPD event of the year, we’d like to wish all schools a well-deserved and restful summer break.
