Before a couple books a consultation, before they read a single word of an About page, your website has already told them who you are.
Bobbie Swanson is an independent celebrant based in Hampshire, creating bespoke weddings, elopements and vow renewals across the UK and Europe, alongside funerals and naming ceremonies closer to home. Every ceremony - and every word - is written entirely from scratch, never a template.
The Celebrant Studio designed a site that feels elegant and considered from the first scroll, giving couples and families a sense of the warmth and grace Bobbie brings to every ceremony, long before they ever meet her.

You don't need thousands of views, you need the right ones. In this clip, we're talking about why chasing huge numbers on your content misses the point entirely. What you actually need is 10, 15, 20 couples or families who are going to book you. That's it. That's the whole game ๐ฏ
So whenever you're creating content, make sure you're telling people how they can book you and how they can get in touch. Make it easy for them to say yes โจ
The Hive is full of masterclasses just like this one, real, practical guidance from celebrants who've built businesses that work. Watch live or catch up whenever you need it ๐

Before a potential client reads your About page or looks at your packages, your website has already told them something about you.
Charlotte is an independent celebrant creating ceremonies across Warwickshire, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds, from weddings and vow renewals to namings and funerals. With a background in law and storytelling and more than 100 bespoke ceremonies behind her, her website needed to reflect her warm, reassuring approach and attention to detail.
The Celebrant Studio created a sophisticated, calming space that feels welcoming from the moment you arrive, while giving couples and families a real sense of the person behind the ceremonies.
What three words would you use to describe the feeling of this website?

It's easy to measure a good wedding season by how many ceremonies are in the diary. But a packed calendar with no breathing room between bookings isn't success, it's a burnout waiting to happen.
The celebrants who make it through August feeling proud rather than depleted are usually the ones who've built in recovery time. A day with nothing in it after a big ceremony. A cut off point for evening emails. Time blocked out just for admin so it doesn't eat into family time.
Your couples get the best ceremony when you're not running on empty to deliver it.
What's your non negotiable recovery habit during busy season?

The beautiful part of celebrancy is the ceremonies themselves. The part nobody really talks about is everything happening behind the scenes.
The truth is, every successful celebrant has had to learn these skills along the way. Nobody starts out knowing exactly how to do it all, and that's completely normal.
What would you add to this list? What's the part of being a celebrant that nobody warned you about? ๐
New Portfolio Reveal: Clare Bennett Celebrant โจ
We had the joy of designing a brand-new website for Clare Bennett, an independent celebrant crafting elegant, bespoke wedding ceremonies across South West France and the UK ๐ซ๐ท๐ฌ๐ง
From vineyard "I dos" under the French sun to intimate countryside weddings in Norfolk, Clare helps couples write ceremonies that feel completely their own - and her new site brings that story to life.
The site showcases:
๐ Destination weddings in South West France
๐ UK weddings & vow renewals
๐ Clare's background in training & development
๐ A calm, elegant aesthetic that puts couples at ease
Every ceremony Clare writes is from scratch, tailored, and totally personal - and now her website reflects that too.

Lost your mojo? Feeling stuck? Or doom-scrolling Instagram wondering why every other celebrant seems to have it all figured out?
This is exactly why we have our monthly Unstuck sessions inside The Celebrant Guild. It's a safe space to say the things we donโt always say out loud, from worrying about a quiet inbox to struggling with motivation or simply feeling like the wheels have come off a little.
Together, we talk it through, share practical ideas and turn the overwhelm into small, achievable next steps. Because sometimes you donโt need another course or a huge new strategy. You just need people who understand, a little accountability and someone to remind you that a slow season doesnโt mean youโre failing.

The best celebrant websites give people a feeling before they've read a single sentence. They tell your story, showcase your personality, and help the right couples and families think, "Yep, that's our person."
That's why we love working with The Celebrant Studio. They create beautiful websites designed specifically for celebrants, so you can focus on ceremonies, clients, and growing a business that feels authentically you.

Funeral celebrancy is so much more than writing and delivering a ceremony. It's about building relationships, setting healthy boundaries, finding your place within the industry, and supporting families in ways that feel both meaningful and sustainable.
In this Funeral round table, Miranda Ash is joined by funeral celebrant and mentor Sarah Wickham, Isabel Potter from Poetic Endings, and Eleanor Hunt from The Woollen Cwtch Company for a fascinating conversation about the future of funerals.
They explore what funeral directors are really looking for when working with celebrants, how to protect your own wellbeing whilst supporting others, and why more families are embracing natural burials and environmentally conscious choices. It's also a wonderful reminder that there isn't just one way to build a successful funeral celebrancy business. Finding your niche and leaning into what matters to you can be your greatest strength.
These are the kinds of conversations that our Guild members have access to.

One of the biggest surprises about celebrancy is that whilst you're surrounded by people during ceremonies, building a business can sometimes feel incredibly lonely.
The late-night ceremony prep. The client question you've never been asked before. The moment of self-doubt before a big wedding or funeral. The feeling that everyone else seems to know exactly what they're doing.
That's exactly why The Hive exists.
Exclusive to Celebrant Guild members, The Hive is a space where you can ask questions, share ideas, celebrate your wins, and get support from people who genuinely understand this work. With Buzz Ambassadors Penny and Helen always there to offer guidance and encouragement, it's so much more than another online group.
