Every child in school and nursery will be bringing home a special gift of a pair of gloves from us.
Staff have worked together to dress them as snowmen and we are really grateful to Primark for helping us source 170 pairs of gloves ,and the donations we have received to help pay for them. We hope they will help keep hands a little warmer in the extremely cold weather.
We would like to wish all our children, their families and everyone in our wider school community a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year

Some of our children have come across some magical little Christmas Gonks whilst out and about in Donnington. The children have been so excited to tell us all about it and have been so happy to give them a new home. โจ ๐ก
Somehow the Gonks have made their way into the school overnight. We canโt wait to see if any of the children find them!
A massive thank you to Caron Taylor for sharing some extra Christmas Magic with us all โจ๐ฅฐ

The children in year 1 enjoyed a lovely walk around Donnington this afternoon. They went as part of their Geography lessons; looking at physical and human features, local shops, buildings, landforms, roads, houses and much more. The children spotted lots of different features and hope to go back to class to make a map of what they saw on their walk.

Over this week, children will be exploring friendships, which can be tricky as young children learn the rules of socialising, and how to handle minor disagreements in an appropriate way.
Other events include Odd Socks Day and Friendship Friday activities. Also, look out for this fabulous flyer made by the School Council and Safety Superstars that has been sent home!
