The loveliest comments from a tutee's parent 🥰.
I am very lucky that I get to do what I love and am passionate about for a job! What could be better than supporting children to become confident and independent readers, writers and spellers?!

I love discovering new things to make the life of dyslexics, or anyone who struggles to access print, a little bit easier and richer - and this is one of my favourite finds so far!
This UK charity provide 🥳FREE🥳 audiobooks for anyone under 25 with a disability that prevents them from accessing printed text - so dyslexia, visual disability, neurodiversity, brain injury, physical dexterity issues..... If you're over 25 it only costs £3 a month! There's a huge range of audiobooks available, including for GCSE and A Level, and books sorted into Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 suitability.
They can be streamed, downloaded and even posted via USB stick.
What a brilliant service!

To enrich the life quality and opportunities for people of all age groups with a print disability by providing access to free audiobooks and content, and to raise awareness of related issues affecting our members. Our vision is an inclusive society where everyone with a reading disability can enjoy....

Absolutely this! It's easy to focus on all the things that dyslexia makes harder for your child. But identifying their strengths and the ways in which they learn best are the foundations of progress, success and self-belief 😊.

All good tutoring should start with an assessment of need and strengths so learning can build on what they already know.🧱
