Some of our wonderful competition winners and runners up performing at the St John’s church lunchtime concert yesterday afternoon.

Taunton Children’s Orchestra is a group for children aged 7-17 and about Grade 1-2 upwards, which has been running for 20 years. We provide the chance for near-beginners on any orchestral instrument to play in an ensemble. As you know, the enjoyment and progress which children make from playing together is huge.

We are doing our best to ensure that all instrumental teachers in the Taunton area are aware of TCO, and orchestral music can continue to thrive. Unfortunately, young players are increasingly few and far between, so we appreciate your help with recruiting them!

Our festival season has come to an end with wonderful performances from some of our most outstanding festival participants….Keep an eye on here for our festival opening dates and we will see you all in February!
