🇬🇧 **Zenozoic Halters are officially Made in Britain!** 🇬🇧

I’m really rather pleased to be able to say this…

**Zenozoic Halters can now be classed as Made in Britain.** 🥰

Every halter is designed and made by me, here in Devon, with the horse at the heart of every decision.

From the design and development, to the cutting, splicing, tying and finishing, each one is made by hand rather than mass produced.

And where I can, I use British suppliers and materials too. 🇬🇧

It might sound like a little thing, but for a tiny one-person business, being able to put **Made in Britain** alongside the Zenozoic name is something I’m genuinely proud of.

It’s another piece of the bigger picture for me:

**British made. Horse-centred. Designed with purpose. Made with care.**

And yes… I may have done a little happy dance when I got the confirmation. 😂🐴

And now I’m curious… does buying British matter to you when you’re choosing products for your horse? 🇬🇧🐴

Feeling feline today !!

I Had a great morning today and the weather was looking good too, so I thought I'd reward myself with a stroll along the canal into town for lunch in the park.

I'd not long finished when this handsome chap strides confidently over to me, brushed around my feet then jumped up and laid down on the bench next to me. So I instinctively and gently put my hand on him, I tried stroking him, but every time I did his tail started twitching – so I just sat there with my hand, still on him, for nearly 15 minutes !

A really beautiful moment – no words, or meows, or movement needed, just the two of us sharing Reiki in the park in the sun.

I love sharing reiki outside,so if anyone would like a quick bit of lunchtime reiki in the park let me know.

Alternatively I have my own treatment room complete with comfy couch, heating, soft lighting and relaxing music for those who prefer their reiki to be less public.

Part 1 of 7 reasons we all need Reiki.

Relaxation:

It's difficult to explain Reiki relaxation - but it's the thing most people notice first and most after a treatment -

It's deep and restorative and most people sleep really well for several nights as a result.

But it's not just relaxation. Science shows that it is only when we are in a deep state of relaxation that the body can start to heal.

Poly Vagal theory shows that if we are in any state of stress or arousal (fight, flight, faun or freeze) then that takes priority and the body simply does not heal !

Stress is now so present in most of our lives that we have become accustomed to it and so don't realise that we are in that state. Often people say they relax but there is still that niggle - some underlying and often unknown tension and so the body resists.

Having a Reiki treatment helps to fully relax us and reminds our bodies just what it can do when the conditions are right.

and that's when the magic really happens.

What a wonderful way to wake up.......

I opened my eyes to find a whole herd of horses all around me, peacefully resting under the trees on our campsite in the New Forest last week.

And naturally, I’d like to think I know exactly why.

I do equine Reiki, after all — so clearly the horses had felt this and decided this was the place to be!

Okay, maybe that’s wishful thinking… and maybe it was more to do with finding shade before the day got too hot, but I’m choosing to believe they were drawn to the Reiki energy.

Either way there’s no denying that there is something incredibly magical about being surrounded by horses, especially when they’re this relaxed and content, and remembering they are free roaming so didn't have to be there.

What a way to wake up!

𝘼 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙞𝙠𝙞 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠!

After many years of teaching Reiki to many students, I have just completed a course with my first ever male student.

Although Reiki has traditionally attracted more women, it's a practice that can benefit everyone so It is wonderful to see more and more men are beginning to discover the benefits of Reiki, both as patients and practitioners and how it can help with so many things including stress, wellbeing, personal growth and spiritual development as well as healing and helping others.

But there is still a real need for greater male representation within the profession.
And I'd really love to see even more men entering the profession.

So, if you're a man who's been curious about Reiki but never quite taken the first step, I'd encourage you to give it a try.

It is easy to learn and you don't need any previous experience—just an open mind and a willingness to learn.

And of course, my courses are open to **everyone**, regardless of gender as I believe the more diverse our community becomes, the stronger it is.

To celebrate this milestone and hopefully inspire more people to begin their Reiki journey, for a limited time

Way too hot in the yurt today, so I’ve set up ready for a reiki treatment in the shade of the gazebo with a gentle breeze, stunning views and the sounds of nature.
