📚 READING TOGETHER IS EVEN BETTER! ❤️

We’re excited to welcome parents and carers into school for our weekly Parent Reading Sessions every Thursday at 2:45pm! 📖✨

Come along and enjoy some special reading time with your child, helping us to nurture a love of reading for pleasure. 🌟

📖 A member of staff will bring your child to you

Please remember: Reading practice books stay in school. Your child will also bring home a library book each week to enjoy together.

📚 What’s happening next week at Amington Heath? 🌿

👟 PE & Forest School: Please ensure children have appropriate footwear. On Forest School days, children should have arms and legs covered, with wellies and a waterproof coat recommended. Children should wear normal school uniform.

☕ Wednesday: Parents/carers can meet Mrs Bee, our new SENCO, at our coffee morning from 9am.

📖 Thursday: Year 1 & Year 2 parents/carers are invited to come in at 2:45pm to read with their child.

All after-school clubs must be booked via ParentPay.

Lunchtime Supervisor

Due to staff resignation Amington Heath Primary School and Nursery is looking to appoint a Grade 2 Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team.
✅ 5 hours per week
✅ Grade 2 SCP 4
✅ Temporary contract
✅ Start as soon as possible

The successful candidate will help provide a safe, caring and positive environment for our children during the lunchtime period.

🎬🌟 AMINGTON HEATH HAS TALENT! 🌟🎬
The staff as you’ve never seen them before…

You may have heard about it… 👀
You probably didn’t believe it… 🤨
But now, at last, you can see it with your own eyes! 😂

Before we Spice Up Our Lives and head back to school on Thursday, we thought we’d give you one final bit of summer entertainment…

At the end of last term, the Amington Heath staff took to the stage to prove that Amington Heath Has Talent.

Whether we actually proved that is… questionable. 🤣

🩰 Some were en pointe (well… vaguely in the right direction) for the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
🕺 Others discovered it really is fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.
✌️ And, just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the Heath Girls told us what they really, really wanted…

There was dancing.
There was questionable choreography.
There were costumes.
There was absolutely no shortage of confidence. 😂

So, as we get ready for a brand-new school year, turn up the volume, enjoy the show and remember…

If our staff are willing to do THIS in front of 180 children, just imagine the adventures we’ve got planned for this year! 🤩

We’ll see you all on Thursday 3rd September — hopefully with our dignity slightly restored.

✨ Calling Former Amington Heath Pupils✨
We are creating a new Wall of Possibilities at Amington Heath Primary School.
The display will help our children see the many paths their future could take and remind them that big dreams can start in small places.
We would love to hear from former pupils who have gone on to achieve something they are proud of, whether that's in further education, a career, running a business, serving the community, raising a family, learning a trade, pursuing a passion or overcoming personal challenges.
Success looks different for everyone, and we want our children to see that there is no single route to a fulfilling future.
