📢 A LITTLE UPDATE FROM JO’S SKATEBOARDING LESSONS 🛹
Hey everyone! 👋
Firstly, I’m really sorry I haven’t been very active on social media over the holidays! With annual leave, the heatwaves and everything else going on, it’s been a challenging few weeks. I have still been doing some lessons, but I’ve also been using this time away to work behind the scenes on some exciting changes.
So, from now on, there are going to be a few changes to how I work! 🛹
📸 Photography & promotional videos
I’ll now be doing all of my own photography and promotional videos, as well as taking control of my own marketing. Throughout the winter, when lessons naturally start to slow down, I’ll be working hard behind the scenes and creating more content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
👨👩👧 Important for parents during lessons
When your child has a lesson, I now ask that parents/guardians stay with their children throughout the session. This is just in case they need the toilet, a drink, suncream or anything else.
I do kindly ask that parents try not to get involved in the actual lesson. I completely understand it can be difficult to watch sometimes, but your children have got this! ❤️
My job is to help them build their confidence, learn safely and, most importantly, get rolling! 🛹
🌱 Looking ahead to next Easter
I’m also working towards putting together a week-long beginners' skateboarding boot camp for next Easter holidays. I’ll be using the winter months to plan this properly and gather feedback from parents and students so I can continue improving the lessons and the service I provide.
🛹 NEW — After Work Skate Club for Over 30s!
This is something I’m really excited about!
I’ll be setting up an after-work skateboarding club specifically for people aged 30+ who either want to get back into skateboarding, keep skating, or simply try something completely different.
It won’t just be about skateboarding. It will be about fitness, having fun, meeting new people, making friends and getting out of the house after work. I also want to create a friendly environment where people can enjoy skating and have a bit of time for themselves.
I’ll be announcing more details about this very soon, before the summer is out, so keep an eye on the page! 👀🛹
Once again, I’m really sorry for being quiet on the social media side of things. I’m going to be getting much more active over the coming weeks, with lots more content, updates and new ideas coming your way.
Thank you all so much for your continued support and understanding.
Keep rolling! 🛹🛹
